Can't say enough about this place helps individuals with disabilities have work and they serve good sandwiches for lunch. Not to mention They have a banquet hall you can rent and also have a greenhouse for your your Spring gardens. And it all benefits People with disabilities.. Love love this place

Always great food here. The cobb salad is fantastic, comes with an avocado ranch dressing. The chicken salad is also really good. And the brownies are awesome!

Was not a fan. Over priced for what you get. The employees were very nice though.

One of the best chicken salads we’ve had. Good food, great staff and wonderful concept to help others around us.

What an excellent addition to the food options in Bardstown. The city really needed it. Excellent takeaway food. Large variety. Some seating inside. We had KY Club Sandwich, bacon potato salad, double chocolate brownies. Roasted red pepper hummus and sesame pretzel chips. Tub of pimento cheese and a tub of french onion dip. All were excellent. Easy to support this great cause then the food is so food.

Great food and service

Wow! After eating their food for a second time, I could not resist reviewing this place. How would you like a sandwich, salad, and soup shop, where everything is homemade? All the meats baked in the house, bread baked in house, cheese sliced themselves, fresh organic vegetables and such sliced by hand by loving employees. Soups, made from scratch, like your grandmother made them or something. That's what this place is. A Jewel in the Nile. Also, I believe they only hire people with developmental disabilities, so when you eat here, you are supporting a very noble cause. Twice now I have purchased the Kentucky club, thick slice home house baked turkey, thick sliced in-house baked ham, and thick sliced bacon, with thick sliced Swiss cheese and cheddar, with hyper fresh greens and fresh sliced Roma tomatoes. Did I mention they make their own bread? So all of those great ingredients stacked on in-house baked whole wheat bun. So delicious. They even make their own potato chips! And they are amazing. Oh, they also make their own cookies from scratch and they are pretty darn delicious. Here's the hard part about this place, it's practically invisible. It sits on the backside of an industrial area, and is relatively hidden for that reason. The only reason I ever heard of this place is because I went to work on their security system. The food looked so good that I bought lunch, and after going back a week later and eating there again, I can Guarantee that I will return weekly for at least one lunch, because the prices are so good and the food is so good that this place just cannot be passed up. Not to mention the great cause. Don't go expecting to sit down, it's takeout only, but everything is lovingly packaged and prepared hourly. I just cannot say enough good things about this place, I am really happy that I found it and when you find it you should be too. Please support this place as it is a wonderful little joint for a great cause.

Want to get lunch and feel like you're helping a cause? Come here! I've been to On the Go Foods a few times now and I'm consistently happy and think it's a great value. You have the option of getting a salad or a sandwich. I have yet to try the salads but they make a great chicken salad sandwich and tend to stick with that. The sandwiches come with a side, a bag of chips, and a cookie -- all for $8. You really can't beat that. Heads up, the only seating they have is outside at a picnic table, so it is truly "on-the-go".
