Great place. Nice to see how the smaller distillery's do their process. Definitely worth checking out. Our tour guide Jim was great and would recommend him.

I'm more than a little bit disappointed. I purchased one of their very expensive whiskeys and loved it so I came back to buy more. But two more bottles almost $400. The Taste is not the same. They said the price went up because it's better than it was before and I don't like it at all and I can't drink it and I've called them to ask what we could do and they have chosen to ignore me so I am extremely turned off by this Distillery. And now that I think of it the first thing that kind of turned me off was the fact that they don't do a military discount when other distilleries do.

After seeing some very large distilleries, it was interesting to see a smaller one that is newer in the process. Our guide “baby” Kate was wonderful! She was energetic and informative about the entire process. Hoping to come back here again to taste more of their original bourbon once it is ready.

Our first trip to Preservstion in February, we lucked out and Marci was in the gift shop. She shared her passion for creating their current offerings. We left with two bottles and a desire to return. When we came back in March, we took a tour with Kate as a tour guide. Kate was fantastic. She led a wonderful tasting and shared a lot of history. We left with a Very Old St. Nick Straight Outta Bardstown which my husband couldn't stop thinking about after our last trip. Preservation has some fantastic products and has such beautiful grounds.

One of the absolute best stops on the Bourbon tour. Fantastic story. Beautiful farm. Our tour guide, Hannah, was amazing. We did the $45 tour, but almost certainly got to taste $100+ worth of rare / old whiskey. Also got a tasting glass.Could not recommend more highly.

Very solid, cool little spot with some crazy high end whiskey that they make. Worth a stop and a taste.

Amazing experience from the time we arrived until we left. Very knowledgeable staff who are truly passionate about what they are doing. Jim was great both behind the bar as well as on the tour. You have to try the brown sugar old fashioned. Ask for it dirty! You won't regret it.
The facility was gorgeous and super family like. The your was fun and the tasting was really nice as well. I would definitely bring people back.

My girlfriend and I stumbled upon this place by accident and it was the most wonderful distillery experience we have had while in Kentucky. Hannah, our tour guide, was informative, funny, and welcoming. We ended up purchasing a bottle of Rare Perfection 15 year, which is, by far, the most incredible whiskey we have ever had. We will be recommending this place to every bourbon and whiskey drinker we know. Thank you, Preservation.

Great tour. Nice smaller scale distillery, was a great mix in with seeing larger/commercial places all week. Also had a great coffee from the tasting bar.
