Beautiful place. Everything was what I expected and more. Very clean, nice atmosphere, very friendly employees. We also went to visitor center and walked around to many establishments. Entire visit was very fun and enjoyable. The food at the restaurant was very good and the bar had a variety of options. Accommodations were very comfortable.

Food & drinks: Very disappointed. We drove out of our way for dinner and drinks when we saw this featured on MSN page. Place wad fantastic and historicly interesting. Drinks and food VERY disappointing. Ordered a bourbon sour, shaken. Arrived flat and red colored. Inquired, why red and was it shaken. Red from cherry juice. No cherry juice in a sour. Went to the bar myself for a remake. This time, correct ingredients, however their version of shaken was pouring from glass to glass.. bartender stated tops of all the shakers have been missing. My walnut chicken and burgoo were excellent. The pork chop with mango sauce had NO sauce, had to ask for it. The bread pudding with bourbon sauce, DISAPPOINTED....sauce was great, but the bread pudding appeared/texture of corn bread.

Beautiful hotel and restaurant. The food was really good. Love the history of this place, and that you can see what they are describing. Love the app you can download and have a tour of the place

Always love visiting this place when visiting Bardstown. There is so much unique history in this tavern. Service has always been good but this last time we had exceptional service by Jonathan and truly made our dining experience extra great! Enjoyed the KY Hot Brown and the Reuben on the menu. If you can get a chance to stay the night here it’s a must. This is a great stop when visiting or if your on then bourbon trail be sure to stop by.

We stayed here for our anniversary. We had a great time. It was a fun experience. The staff were all friendly and helpful. Our dinner was excellent. It was actually pretty quiet during the night. We may stay here again in near future.

Room, and the inn itself is charming, but little dated or “rustic”. I was fine there as a single…my wife probably not. Staff was great.Service at dinner was slow, but dinner was very good, not over priced and terrific waitress! Music and bar noise would be a problem for some.

The traffic circle was a bit loud at 6:30 in the morning but didn’t distract me enough not to stay there again. Great place!!

Lovely inn accessible to downtown Bardstown. Amenities were first rate!Noteworthy details: The inn was once a bank and our closet was actually the vault!
