I was a bit skeptical of all the great reviews of the egg salad sandwich. I love the egg salad sandwich at the Masters Golf tournament every year but the one at Willett blows the Augusta National Sandwich away. The Whiskey Sour was awesome!! I highly recommend lunch here.

I’m not going to lie. I was skeptical of booking this for dinner because of the small plates. Life changing meal. IWe had to order seconds of half of the dishes we ordered because they were phenomenal. A must stop when in the area. Borderline life changing meal and phenomenal service.

Everyone was friendly and helpful. Ordered pre, egg salad and country ham. Everything was beyond delightful and satisfying. I would recommend to anyone as everyone who wants an amazing experience.

Could not say enough wonderful things about Willett. Stopped in after a tour of the distillery and our group ordered a bunch of different things. I ordered the chicken thighs after seeing a photo of them. Absolutely delicious and highly recommend. Also ordered the egg salad sandwich because everyone I know who had been told me I had to try it. That's not my favorite sandwich by any means, but theirs was ridiculously incredible. I'd order it every time I go. Their bourbon menu is extensive and insane (as to be expected given that it's at the distillery). Staff was wonderful and took care of us above and beyond the usual service. Definitely make the trek out and see for yourself.

Flight of pours was affordable, limited space in bar, but great service! “Visitor Center” layout was awkward.

Outstanding service. We sat at the bar and had impeccable service. This is our second time here and both times have blown us out of the water. Definitely recommend the egg salad sandwich. The restaurant is on the second floor of the distillery above the gift shop. It is accessible by elevator or stairs.

The best lunch of my life. Every single thing that we tried was beyond delicious and the staff were so kind. Cannot say enough good things about this place. Make reservations. Get the egg salad.

Great selection of bourbons, awesome service and great food. Was highly disappointed with the cleanliness of their glens. Bought a few high dollar pours and they were water stained and 2 had stuff dried on them that I could scrape off with my nail.

How this is not the #1 place in Bardstown, I do not know. The food-Outstanding. The drinks-Outstanding. The Service-Even Better. This restaurant sets the standard of what dining should be in Bardstown. Come here-skip the hype at other places locally.

I've been here twice, and I've been blown away both times. It's absolutely the best bourbon in Kentucky, and the best egg salad I've ever tasted in my life. You're missing out if you don't visit.

Had an absolutely wonderful experience at the Bar at Willett. Cocktails were great. Some of the best food I have eaten in my life. The egg salad sandwich changed my life and I will be thinking about it every day until I have a chance to eat it again.Jason was our waiter during out visit and he might have been the best part of the entire experience. Amazingly professional and next level when it came to customer service. Knew the food and drink menu like the back of his hand. He went above and beyond to clarify which items were vegetarian friendly.

This is a reservation-only restaurant located at the Willett Distillery. They serve tapas style foods and we tried many of them (but didn't have a chance to take all the photos because we were SO hungry!). We ordered THE iconic must-try egg salad sandwich and it did not disappoint. It is the fanciest, richest, most delicious egg salad sandwich I've ever tried. We also had the crawfish hushpuppies which were unique and delicious. The shishito peppers was probably the one dish we could have skipped. We also ordered the chicken thighs and they are extremely good. The cheese plate was good, but we did wish it was bigger and also had some charcuterie. Be prepared to pay about $10-$16 for the small plates, and $20 for the cheese plate. You can also try their "purple tops" which are the fancy Willett Bourbons...but keep an eye on the price of the pours because it can get super pricey! My husband paid $35 for a tasting pour of his.Overall, I highly recommend adding a meal at The Bar at Willett on your Bourbon Trail itinerary!
