I swung by Gold Star Chili and was greeted by incredibly friendly staff who even offered a treat for my furry friend--a lovely touch! The portion size could've been more generous, but the taste was delightful. My only wish was for the cheese and onions to be better integrated with the spaghetti during the drive-through service. Nonetheless, they were lightning-fast. The staff's warmth and great service definitely earn them 4 stars from me!
Hadn't tried a Gold Star before but was very familiar with the other brand of Cincinnati chili. Saw this was in the area when I was there riding with friends and had to stop by. A few of them hadn't been introduced to the awesomeness of Cincinnati chili but after partaking in the food, they were converts.Glad that I saw it on the map, the staff were super friendly and our food was ready quickly and was great.

Located close to the interstate exit, this Gold Star is likely one of the farthest south in the franchise. We took the opportunity for one last Cincinnati 5-way luncheon and were glad we did. Special bonus: on a whim, we also tried their cheeseburger, and it was delicious! The addition of the cheeseburger to the options might make this a good choice if your carload has a number of dining preferences and does not want to be limited to chili (there is a chili burger option).
