Had to edit my 5 star rating after the change in ownership. New menu is incredibly mediocre and they are no longer serving sushi. No plans to get the train up and running again. Hard pass. I took my business over to Ichiban.

What happened to this place? This place used to be really good. Has gone way down hill. Sushi was not good. Train not running. Staff over to the side laughing with each other while our drinks sit empty. This will be our last time here. We Will go somewhere else.

Wonderful food and a great place prices are average for sushi. Only down side is the carousel of sushi is not up because of Covid.

This is the first time I've gone back since C-19 and the change in ownership.First off, for those looking for it: the sushi train is no longer active, and as of writing they have no plans to get it back up and running.Otherwise, this spot is essentially a mid to high end dining spot with a calm, shaded atmosphere. The food was done quickly and met expectations - delicious rice, good meats and fresh, tasty fish for the sushi. Good soup for a starter too, with the crab angel appetizers.I'd definitely eat here again, but it went from a decent lunch spot with a lot of tasty food on offer for dinner to a quiet, somewhat pricey, hole-in-the-wall dinner spot.Without the draw of the sushi train and the variety of things you can try from it, it lost a little of the luster for me. Still a good spot to eat but not a place I'd choose often, both from price and variety pressuring it. The food here was amazing and the atmosphere cozy. Felt really friendly too; it was the first time I had ever been to a sushi train restaurant like it and the waitress was awesome. Helped me pick a few interesting things and was very sweet.I recommend going for the sushi train and some mango mochi ice cream for dessert. Use the chopsticks too! It's fun and you'll get used to it in no time.Five stars.Vegetarian options: There's a section on the menu specifically for vegetarian options, and the cheaper rolls are veg too.Wheelchair accessibility: Easy ramp from the parking lot and no stairs to speak of. Accessible bathrooms and good amount of space

Went out to find sushi in Bowling Green, had been to the classic spots, Shogun, Kyoto, ichiban (r.i.p) etc. but wanted something new. This was not the place. Way over priced for mediocre and sub par sushi. What we ordered sounded really good but came out and just didn't look that appetizing and couldn't really tell what one ingredient was from another. For 3 rolls and an appetizer the bill was $48 before the tip. If the price was cheaper, I would consider again. But in my good conscience I won't pay $13 for 6-8 pieces for low quality sushi.

This place used to be so good. It was one of my favorites. Shutting down the sushi train is just an awful awful decision. There was a number of things that were bad. From the sushi train, the bar being closed, the bento box was kinda bland and their salad is only lettuce now?! It was a terrible experience to come back to. Can’t honestly say I’ll be going back. It was like going to see your grandma again after not seeing her for so long because of covid. Just to find out some psycho was wearing grandmas skin… Yeah, that’s how it felt.

Food is ok. Service was kinda bad when we went but I think they where understaffed. Never got refills on our drinks. As of 8/21/22 that’s when we went they will no longer have the sushi train. They will not be opening that back up and that was really the only reason we would eat here so unfortunately we won’t be going back cause we can find the same food at closer locations to us. Also we get more food for our buck at other locations. I’m sad to see the train go and that’s the only reason we liked this place.

Our server forgot 3 separate times that we ordered 2 bento boxes and a kids meal. We waited 45 minutes after that (we were the only people in the restaurant) no big deal but when our food arrived every ounce of it was ice cold, I mean it felt like it came out of the refrigerator. When we brought it up to the server she said “it shouldn’t be” so I picked it up with my hand (the food that was just sat in front of me) and said this is so cold I can grab this with my hands.. they said, “i can take it and fix it” so they tossed our shrimp in the microwave and said they were going to put the rest of the food on the grill… this entire experience was completely unacceptable. We live over an hour and a half away and came here for the sushi train which is permanently closed, which was no big deal, but the service and food were terrible.. we will not be back

We loved the sushi train a couple of years ago when we was there and it was the reason we chose to eat there, they no longer have it.
