It was packed this time. We met some friends for dinner and my food was far from tasty. The shrimp was undercooked slightly, and the chicken was tiny bite-sized pieces like I would serve to one of my kids. There were huge chunks of tomatoes, and the tortillas were off. I usually eat a full Ismael special but thankful I only got a half this time. Hopefully, next time, it would be better because, like I said, I usually have a good visit, and knowing the workers helps me feel a little more at ease.Kid-friendliness: They have your basic meals kids will eat and more.
Most Mexican restaurants seem much the same. But the food here is always very fresh, hot, and really good. This place is the best.

My husband brought me on Valentines day. ? the server was great and the food was too. Restaurant was clean and in good condition. Loved our visit.

There were 7 of us, and it was after the dinner rush, so I was surprised when it appeared that our orders overwhelmed the kitchen staff. Meals were delivered 2 - 3 at a time with waits between deliveries. From first person served to last person was about 12 minutes. My wife and I ordered the fajitas for 2. There was enough meat for an army, but only 3 tiny tortillas for each of us. Also, the seasoning was very mild and I found myself adding the salsa that was served with the tortilla chips to spice it up.
