“My boyfriend and I came in tonight closer to closing. He ordered the steak, shrimp, and chicken hibachi with fried dumplings and I had the teriyaki chicken bento box with spicy crab sushi, and crab Rangoon. The food was SO good. But, I think the shining point of dinner was their young daughter coming up to play with us then later asking if we needed anything. You can tell this is a mom and pop type restaurant and I absolutely love it. I hope to come back in soon!“

“For being such a small, likely overlooked little restaurant, my family and I were surprised at the flavor and taste of everything we ordered. Beautifully decorated and the staff were all super nice, seriously, this place is underrated, definitely one of the best dine in experiences I've had in years.“

“Good mango curry. I got it hot level of spice and it was not that spicy but still seasoned well. Good service. Wife's Sesame chicken was only adequate... Overcooked and sauce tasted like it came from a jar. Good apple sake. Good service.“

“Amazing food and service! We drive 45 minutes to eat at Sake Bomb. My wife is gluten free and is able to safely eat off the gf menu with multiple offerings, including gf sushi. The food is soooo good. Fresh, tasty sauces, large portions, and the presentations are beautiful. The owner is wonderful and truly seems to care for his customers as he talks with each table. If we lived closer, we would be here twice as much as we are now.“

“This was on of the best and most authentic Japanese restaurants that I have been to. The staff were very kind, the menu had a great selection of dishes. The sushi was very fresh. Everything had a great feel. Very warm and inviting! I would return if I was in the area. I was here on a business trip.“

“One of my favorite when I come to town to visit family. The food & drinks are always good and the service has been great. Whether it’s a table of adults or one with a few kids mixed in you can’t go wrong here for lunch or dinner.Kid-friendliness: Definitely kid/family friendly with lots of menu options & coloring sheets.“

“La Hiro is a hidden gem in the Cincy area for traditional Japanese cuisine. Our family absolutely loves Kiki for its modern Japanese flavors, but La Hiro is our personal favorite for traditional Japanese. We were shocked to be here between 6:30-7:30 on a Saturday evening and we were the only ones in the restaurant. That is absolutely unacceptable for a restaurant of this quality. Don’t let the fact that it’s next to a liquor store in a small strip center turn you away. The quality and service are top notch…I just wish it was closer to home!“

“Our go to place in Florence for sushi. It’s usually pretty good and fresh tasting. Today I’m a little disappointed with what they call the big “Spicy Lobster Roll”. It hardly had any lobster, more crab than anything, and the spicy mayo didn’t really make it spicy. And it wasn’t that big. They could at least rename it. Oh well, I still enjoy the food and service“

“This is the first time I've gone into this place, but I've ordered takeout several times. It's in an 1840 building, so this is one of the most unique sushi places you'll ever eat at. I came in on a Saturday night with a party of five and was told by the host it was going to be a 25-30 minute wait, which we were prepared for. Then he came back in a few minutes and said "just give me five minutes" and we were very quickly seated. Our server was very knowledgeable and patient with my kids and the food was stellar. Between us, we got tempura, sushi rolls, tofu, ramen, fried rice and lo mein, all of which was amazing. The 859 roll might be the best sushi roll I've ever had anywhere. We will definitely come back.Parking: There is limited parking around this restaurant. There is a church that shares it's parking lot with Zozo and Tousey House and there is some public parking by the courthouse. Both require a walk to get to the restaurant.“
