“Recently had a fantastic experience at this Godfathers, tucked away inside a Hucks truck stop. I was with my family coming in from out of town and we were stopping in Kuttawa for the night. Around 30 minutes prior to our arrival, we decided we'd order food from here and pick it up before heading to our destination. My wife called in the order, a simple pizza and breadsticks. Arrived, I went to the counter and told the young lady I was there for my call in order. She was confused and apologetic as she didn't have any record of a call in order. It was only her and one other young man working and they were both extremely busy. She profusely apologized for the order not being made and told me that if I would give her 15 minutes, she could have it ready and there would be no charge! I told her I appreciated that but I would be happy to still pay. She insisted, told me it was their fault for the miscommunication and thanked me for my patience. 15 minutes later, I had my food and she continued to thank me/apologize. I'm very sorry I didn't get the name of the young lady, but if I were a franchisee, this is the type of person I would want managing my business. Kudos to her, and for this Godfather's location for having her on staff. I appreciate it and the food was delicious!“
“We had a large pepperoni Blast pizza and a large Greek salad. It was delicious! Our waitress was super attentive. She went above and beyond to make sure everything was just the way we like it. We had a nice relaxing dinner with enough left over to take home for tomorrow.Vegetarian options: There are veggie pizzas, calzones, sandwiches, and yummy salads.Wheelchair accessibility: No barriers. No raised doorways. Plenty of room at the tables.“
“This was a fun, hometown kind of place. We have been staying at a house on Lake Barkley and this was our last night before heading home. We walked in and weren't sure what to do until another customer told us to just sit wherever...so we did. We all ordered the catfish because when the place is called "The Fishin Hole" you have to have the fish! The blackened fish had good flavor, however it is spicy. Sadly, the pieces of fish for those of us who ordered it blackened were half the size of the fried fish pieces. In the future, we would only order the fried. The fried fish was the best I've ever ate. Thankfully, my husband planned ahead and ordered the three piece fried so he could share with me. The beans were very bland and needed salt and the offered relish. The slaw was very good. I like my slaw, but usually no one else's. I enjoyed the slaw here. We did not try any of the dessert, but it looked good. We really enjoyed the small town, hometown feel of this place. The servers knew many of the customers by name. If we are ever back though here, we will definitely take a seat at a table again. Great food, great service, great atmosphere!“
