“It's always a good time for a sub. This one is inside a gas station but I think that's just where the company puts them now. Fast paced and busy as you would expect just off an interstate exit. Foods always good and usually no wait.”
“It was a cute shop, and the inside had a cozy atmosphere. The ice cream was not too sweet and was very delicious. I would like to try other flavors as well. I ordered a mint chip milkshake. Recommended!”
“My porkchops were perfectly fried, had terrific greens and a huge baked potato. The chocolate pie was perfect. Great iced tea!! If you order anything and aren't pleased, they will make it right! My go-to, homecooked meal. Never disappointed. Always worth the drive to the country!!!!”
“One of my favorite places to go to with my family! The food is always on point and very affordable. My family of 5 ate there for $50 and that included drinks.Kid-friendliness: Great selection of choices on the kids menu”
“First time here, omg what a fabulous place and what great staff Carrie and Dawn were so nice and friendly and David cooked the BEST chicken club and onion rings It may be out of the way for some but if your looking for good old fashioned service, quality and small town flare this is the place It’s a home town”
“Great food and service! If you want the best tasting mexican food in Carrollton come here! I had the chorizo and steak tacos and they are literally the best tacos I've ever had and I've had my fair share of authentic Mexican tacos. My husband usually has the torta and he agrees that its the best. Hot and fresh and full of flavor. Support these hardworking folks so the business stays here in Carrollton.”
“We stop here every time we are in the area. Great food and great service. Weekends can be a little on the busy side but worth it. Great place to stop for lunch or dinner.Parking: Large parking lot with plenty of parking for cars and trucks pulling trailers, campers, boats, ect.Kid-friendliness: Kids always love eating here!Wheelchair accessibility: Easy to get into the building for people with mobility issues.”
“went here for a friends 22nd birthday party . there was barley and people there . beautiful location, wine was very failry priced and honestly less expensive than a normal dinner at the local diner nowadays ! lots of cute animals on the property as well . did a round of the wine tasting and bought a bottle and some beer cheese . all of it was delicious ! would highly reccomend”
“The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive without being annoying. The atmosphere was warm and inviting. Loved this place and the waffles were delicious but i really can’t express enough how wonderful the customer service was.”
“Truly a farm to table place to shop. Family owned and operated on the family homestead. They support other farmers in the area by marketing their products. Their ice cream is made on site and they have an Ice Cream Truck that can support local events.Close to I 71 exit 28.”
“Wonderful place to eat. The staff is very friendly with generous meal portions. They feed you pretty quickly and serve complimentary chips and salsa - I felt like I was back in Texas. Food is also reasonably priced. I would recommend this place to anyone traveling in that area of KY.”
“We went to get my daughter’s cake for her birthday this morning and the girl behind the counter (I didn’t catch her name) was fast, efficient and made her cake PERFECT within minutes. She was amazing. Highly recommend for your cake needs!”
“the pizza here is SO GOOD. me and my best friend are ranking the hometowns in the area and this one easily takes the #1 spot. not to mention that the servers are so nice and patient. the overall atmosphere is very chill, it occasionally gets busy but 9 times out of 10 it's a very quiet place. 10/10 would definitely recommend!”
“Always enjoy eating from here, has been home town staple since before I was born. Especially love their additions from couple years back. Also A + chili when it's in season.”
“I'd recommend this place to anyone in the area who's looking for amazing scoops of ice cream. Family friendly. And the owners are right there working side by side the employees. I highly respect that, and it shows how committed they are to not only their customers but also to there team. The fun color choice and eye for details on this old build is what drew us in.A+ across the board.Parking: Parking in front of building and free parking right across the street!! Can't beat thatKid-friendliness: Owners respected the kids and wanted to serve them and my wife and I to the best of their ability. High chairs and seating for the whole family.”
“I love this place! It's a small vineyard and winery and according to them it was the 4th winery in Kentucky. The owners built the place from the ground up and you can really tell it was a labor of love. The owner gave us a history of the farm during our tasting, which was only a few dollars to try them all. The wines were great (my favorite was the Shiraz) and the scenery was fantastic. Definitely a place to just chill..and we will be back!”
“We were on a 12 hour trip from Arkansas to Ohio and stopped to stretch and refuel ourselves and the car. We were pleasantly surprised to find in side dinning was available. My wife had their chicken sandwich meal with French fries and a diet Pepsi I had their Quarter pounder, fries and a diet. Both meals tasted good and since these were fast foods we did not lose much time in our travels. The restaurant is in a truck stop. It is very clean, as was the restrooms. Staff was great and friendly.”
“Just had one of the best Wendy's experiences I've ever had. I've been to Wendy's many times and we go there only when we are traveling or need a quick bite. We are traveling for a family event for Christmas. We decided to go through the drive through to save time. The staff was extremely kind and friendly. There was an error with our order, which the employee apologized many times for. We ended up with a few extra food items because of the error. The food itself was packaged the best I've ever seen in a bag before. Each meal was separate which kept us from the usual confusion of digging through the bag for each person's items. The way it was bagged also kept the food very hot. I noticed and so did my 12 year old as he said, "Mom, the bottom of the bag is so warm and my food is warm."It was a very pleasant experience and I feel many drive through could learn a lot from this particular store on how to package food for travelThank you!”
“Got a very good steak, egg and cheese McGriddle, and a terrible hot chocolate. The food was very delicious but the hot chocolate had very little chocolate and was not mixed in. Felt like drinking a very scaldingly hot milkParking: Plenty of spots, the handicap accessible parking spots are right up front and easy to useWheelchair accessibility: Very easy to get around in my manual wheelchair, plenty of space between the tables and the doors are not very heavy to open”
“Guess I'm done with Subway.I know the prices of everything are skyrocketing but C'mon , 15$ even for a 6" cold cut sub with double meat, chips and drink?? That's the final for me with Subways.”
“Store was very clean, food all looked fresh, they didn't try rushing us because we took forever trying to figure out what we wanted to eat lol..and they actually had ITALIAN HERB CHEESE BREAD! We've literally not seen one Subway have this bread in probably 2 years. The food was put together very well, except the Mayo was poured on last. That's prob my fault because I should've had them put it on 1st but it was at the very end. It was swimming in mayo and I could barely eat it without it pouring out everything else in my sandwich. But it sure tasted good still?”
“Food is always the hottest and freshest I've ever received at McDonald's. But never a great time with their drive-through. Staff always seems upset, and the atmosphere is gross, seeing that it's right next to a sewage line.”
“They've got their 2 for $6 roast beef sandwiches right now, so my husband and I got some the other night to take home. I wanted a hot ham and cheese, but they don't have them anymore, so I got the reuben. There was hardly any thousand island on it, and the bread was chewy as can be. The roast beef sandwiches were good, but I won't be wasting money on a reuben anymore. The lady that took my order was super sweet, and the guy making the food was quick, and he came around front once he was finished making it and helped bag our order up. Also, happy that they now have crinkle fries!”
“The food was delicious as always, I used the app to order and my food was ready when I arrived to pick it up. Food was still hotParking: Plenty of space to parkWheelchair accessibility: Should have no problems getting in and maneuvering around in a wheelchair”
“The service was amazing. Chicken was nice and hot. It was Kentucky fried chicken. I got the original recipe he gave me a few pieces but then offered me a piece that just came out of the fryer. Very nice.”
“They stated that they had just been extremely busy. Consequently, they didn't have the type of bread I wanted. Also, they were down to just one of the cookies I wanted. I had to go with another bread and choose another type of cookie for my second one in the combo meal.”
“Sharon and Terry are two of the nicest people you could ever meet! Their ice cream is amazing, and they have a variety of cheeses that are also made from milk that comes from their family farm.”
