I was on the road and saw this place. It was undoubtedly the best fried chicken I ever had. Not greasy, light crispy crunch. The ladies that served me were so nice. Anytime i travel this way, i will be stopping here to eat chicken.
I was actually pretty disappointed. I'm giving it 3 star since I went 45 min before close and I don't think the meat was as fresh at that point, so maybe it's better during the day? Green beans and Mac and cheese were fantastic! Pulled pork was very wet if you like that style, but a little underwhelming. It was good, but I was expecting higher standards of "southern comfort". Great great great food, especially the gravy, for the location! We stopped here to grab a bite with little time to spare getting to the Mammoth Cave tours, and this worked fantastically.
