Cookout is always solid, and what a value! While it's no fine dining spot, you can't beat the price, especially for the amount of food and quality that you get. We were driving back home and made it a point to stop here, delaying our hunger. It was definitely worth it. The service was efficient, and we were able to get on our way.
First things first. This is a DRIVE-THRU/WALK-UP only restaurant. There is no dining room. Better signage to that effect would stop people walking around the building through drive-thru lanes (not safe) looking for an entrance. There also are no outside patio tables/benches. Atmosphere gets a zero. Food - I would give 3-1/2 stars if I could but went with three because the french fries were disappointing (both regular crinkle and cajun (they just shook a little spice on top). This was my first visit to Cook Out and I am blown away by how fast we got our food! The food was delicious! I got the Cheddar Style Burger with Cajun fries ? and my husband got a Big Double Tray deluxe with Cajun fries, so yummy!
