We showed up for our reservation, only to find out the place is CLOSED..SHUT DOWN...there was no notification of this from them, despite my reservation. I do NOT think it's going to reopen.

Dinner was wonderful, Leeza our waitress was just great. The problem I had was, I made a reservation, when. I got there they didn’t have the reservation, said they were using a different way or website. Very disappointing. The jazz band was so loud we couldn’t have a conversation without shouting to one another.

We will never come back to this restaurant. This is an advertised Creole restaurant that was out of their crawfish appetizer. The restaurant was also out of the signature dessert, butter pie. These items were unavialable to us and we were the first dinner reservation on a Saturday night. The Cesear salads were not edible. Lettuce was brown and mostly stems. Asparagus was bitter. The "mixed greens" on the menu was one item, kale. We were celebrating a special occasion on this visit. I had been to this restaurant years ago and it was very good. This place has fallen hard needs to greatly improve. There are much better places to eat in the area.

Our first time visiting Covington. This place is amazing. We had Leeza as a server and she was absolute perfection. I ordered the Cajun seafood pasta and it was outstanding. We also had the butter pie and all I can say is wow!

We went to Dee felice for our wedding anniversary. My husband proposed here 34 years ago. The food was great as expected. The live music was exceptional. Service was great, our waitress was very attentive and didn't rush us.If I had a complaint there is only one. The ladies room was out of toilet paper and the garbage can was overflowing. But that did not keep us from enjoying our night.

Slow service the filet/lobster was burnt & badly over seasoned! Waitress apologized told us she told the manager but the manager didn’t come to us to apologize even though he visited other tables and that is very unprofessional we felt we didn’t matter!

We ordered red beans and rice and had to send it back. The beans were so hard they were crunchy. There was no seasoning, they were tasteless. The Jamalaya was not what we expected. The last time we were there we had the jambalaya with brown sauce and it was very good. The jambalaya that we were served last night had strips of chicken that we had to saw thru with a knife. It wasn't very tasty. We also resented the $3.50 credit card fee we had to pay. We had reserved a table for 6 to celebrate Father's day, needless to say we cancelled the reservation. I don't think we will be coming back

Upon arrival we were shown a table next to the restrooms. I asked to be seated away from the restrooms. There were many available tables at 5:30 and several were still empty when we left at 6:50. The hostess would NOT seat us elsewhere despite having a reservation. The music began at 6:30 and the room is just too small for 8 musicians. Conversation was no longer possible. We will not be returning.

Delicious food, excellent service! We went for our anniversary dinner. Nice table by the window. They were out of one of this fish options but had so much more to offer. We enjoyed the piano bar (really nice music to have dinner to). For dinner we had two starters that were happy hour half off, a couple of dinks and the bread. I ordered the Fettuccini Alfredo with shrimp and the very berry salad and my husband ordered the Seafood New Orleans with a Caesar salad. Absolutely delicious! They even gave us a dessert for our anniversary. We were not rushed and the food was spaced out so we didn't get everything at once. Will definitely come back!

Took over 2 hours to get dinner and over 1/2 hour to pay for it...which was a total nightmare. We were there for 3 1/2 hours...2 couples asking at beginning for 2 bills...I end up getting a bill for entire table and another bill was given to the other 2 for their dinner as well. I was charged 3 times on my AE...I have to wait to see if any credits come through....used to be our favorite restaurant but new owner is running it in the ground. We have tried 3 times to try and enjoy but this was the last chance. Worst part was nobody really cared to get it right.

Went for dinner with a friend. Ordered the blackened tomato salad which was okay, albeit difficult to eat. Had the Chicken Tchoupitoulas for an entree. It was blackened chicken over rice and asparagus. It wasn't bad, but severely lacking in salt. The bearnaise sauce was extremely bland. Not at all worth $28 to me. The carrot cake was excellent. They had live music which I typically enjoy, but it was so loud it was hard to carry on a conversation.

Enjoy things on the menu at Dee Felice Cafe that are unique to this restaurant. This night it was the Escargot Mario and the Halibut Forte, a bit pricey but worth it. Also the music (another reason for coming) this particular night featured some exceptionally accomplished musicians. Thoroughly enjoyable experience.

While the food was good the waitress was a bit off. I have never been at a restaurant were i was told where i sat down with no menus, no QR CODE, etc then when we asked it was a "once you decide if you want an appetizer or drinks then i will get you the main menu" which there was no appetizer menu given yet.. it was all very odd, then when desserts were offered they were sure if there was "slices of cheesecake from yesterday left or if someone had ordered them already"

Everything was great except when the band started playing. They were so loud that we could not even talk with our dinner! Loved the music but it was just too loud for dining. Even the server had trouble hearing us. If it were just a bar, it would have been a great volume but it was just too loud during dinner.

I hate to say it but the food was incredibly overpriced. This was not the quality I expect from a $160 meal for my partner and I. Etoufee was bland and so was the cream pasta. Dee Felice has gone very downhill in recent years and it is disappointing.
