Great service. These are the best coneys to buy while you're out and about much better than the competitor. The hot dog tastes much better and the chili has great flavor. The ladies were sweet.

After living in Cincinnati for 20+ years and being on team Skyline or Goldstar. I finally branched out and tried Dixie, needless to say I will have to add it to my chili rotation. The Food is tasty!

Hands down the best chili in the tri-state. Skyline, Gold Star and any others are second rate Yankee chili.

The old fashion style American bistro with local style chilli offered in few variants is definitely worth the pretty short bus travel from downtown Cincinnati. For me as a European guy it was a remarkable experience to taste American culture. As well as the atmosphere of the surrounding area ?

I have never eaten here before, heard good things about the food, decided to come in and try it came in and sat at a tablefor about 10 minutes and was ignored. Nobody came over to serve me so I thought maybe it was like cafeteria style and I need to go to the counter to order so I go up to the counter. There’s only one other customer Ahead of me still waiting for his food three ladies behind the counter not one acknowledged me within five minutes so I left, so needless to say I’ve never got to try Dixie chili and I probably never will because I will not be back.

Great food and will always be my favorite chili but the girl who takes your order is very unprofessional. Tries to joke with you when you order and thinks its funny but its not. I went to order my meal and i asked if i could get a 3 way and she kept telling me "No" With a serious face so i was taken back. She then told me i had to answer a question before i could order my food?? Then i learned that when my boyfriend and his friends were there awhile back she did the same thing to his friend. She said she wouldn't take his order so he took her serious and he stormed out. She then said she was joking..... Not funny at all, be more professional when taking peoples orders.

Purchased a Garden Salad for $5.00, @ the Covington Madison Ave. location and the salad barely covers the bottom. The Owner refused to credit the money and said to take it back to the Newport, KY. Store and hung up the phone. The chili is watered down, I understand covid times are here, but that is a half salad, nothing more.

The staff seemed shorthanded, but that did not stop them from exercising great customer service, hustle, and charm to keep things flowing and a no waiting experience. This location was impeccably clean on our visit, July 22 23, and we very much enjoyed this Cincinnati staple south of the border.

The staff seemed pretty nice. When they say small on their menu, they aren't joking. If you want a small, be prepared to eat a child size small. They do need to learn how to chop or mince the garlic though. Serving whole garlic that way can be a choking hazard to anybody. I do love the fact they still have Barq's red cream soda!! I was told that Dixie stopped serving it. Thank you to this store for having it. You made my week!!

Best chili in town ! Was in the neighborhood and just had to swing by. It didn't disappoint and it never does. Love the place.
