First time dining here and we will be back. The wagyu beef ravioli, meatballs, short ribs, and parmesan risotto were awesome! Opera cream cake was my favorite dessert out of the three we tried.

I can’t praise this place any higher! My son and future DIL took me here for my birthday. It was probably the best meal I’ve had out in a very long time! Our server was very attentive! The hostess was warm and offered a tour of the upstairs rooms. The manager came to our table when he heard it was my birthday, and offered a free dessert - which was also delicious!! I highly recommend this wonderful place and hope to go back!! Definitely 5 Stars!!!

There was a really nice energy to the restaurant last night. My friend and I chose to sit at the bar for dinner where we had great service from our bartender. Really nice selection of wine to choose from. Our dinner was fabulous! Great combination of flavors in the Salmon Al Limone. Very generous portion of salmon and the ravioli was absolutely delicious. 
We loved our experience at the Governors House. From the start, the ladies at the host stand were approachable and welcomed us to the cutest little room in the back. Overall, the vibe was great, food was delicious, and Drew did a great job answering questions and making recommendations. Presentation and taste of the food was phenomenal. Hats off to the chef and kitchen staff too!

Went in with my fiancée for dinner and it was phenomenal. From the cocktails and food to the atmosphere and service. Everything exceeded our expectations. We were already planning our next trip before we left.

Me and my fiancé went to Governor’s House for a nice dinner out and it exceeded our expectations in every way. Every part of the meal we got was fantastic and delicious and we can’t wait to go back ?? Highly recommend the shrimp and short rib four cheese tortellini ?

Second visit to the Governors House did not disappoint. Great food & Great service. They even accomodated us when we needed to add to our reservation number. We will definitely be back.

Our second time here. I can't say enough about this place. Service is amazing and the food is even better. The short rib is a must try as well as the shrimp and short rib pasta. You're missing out if you haven't tried this restaurant

Cute refurbished building in Covington KY. Waitress was slow and non-existent quite a bit. Drinks weee slow to be delivered. My short ribs were delish but my friend's steak was over-cooked and was more like sirloin than a filet. Meatball appetizer was disgusting. Bread with pesto butter was really good. Not sure I would go back...

The only things I enjoyed were the bottled water and bread. The Lemon Ricotta Ravioli tasted like it was covered in overly sugared lemonade. It was sickeningly sweet. The charcuterie board bizarrely included nice lunch meat and a few scraps of cheese. The food did not match the setting at all. It was so, so terrible. The manager did come over and ask how the meal was, but how do you tell someone that their food is this terrible? How do you explain that Lemon Beurre Blanc isn't powdered lemonade? We just left. On the plus side, the service was great.

Very much enjoyed our visit, we have been here before and liked it then too. We both got spaghetti and meatballs and we both enjoyed this simple dish with very tasty sauce and melt-in-our-mouth meatballs. Also enjoyed table bread, which was warm and delicious. We shared an Italian wedding cake for dessert-this was especially top notch!! I have never had one this good. The spaghetti sauce distinguishes the dish, it one of the best I have tasted!

Beautiful restaurant that was recommended by friends, however we waited close to 30 minutes sat our table and our server didn't even come back for a drink order. We decided to move on to another restaurant, and as we were leaving, there was our server chatting up the hostess. We'll try again as it seemed to be a personnel issue.
