“Great little restaurant. Even has outside dining, when the weather warms up.Parking: Parking is what gives them 4 stars instead of 5. There is some meter parking in front and an extremely small lot behind the restaurant. Then free on street parking in the neighborhood behind them. If you are going at a busy time expect to do laps around to find a place.“
“Had a dope dinner at the aperture on Friday night. The space is super fresh with a nice minimalist touch. Sleek tables and chairs. Loved being able to see into the open kitchen and watch the chef work. Once I saw the wood fired open flame going back there I knew we were in business. Highly recommend getting smoked dishes. We started with the focaccia. It was so light and airy but still crispy. The whipped butter went crazy. The carrot dish was crazy, loved the sauce and char on the carrot. Falafel also great with the eggplant hummus being a highlight. Pasta dish was also good, reminded me a of light and classy alfredo. Service was a bit slow, but hey they just opened. Give this place a chance. Super excited to see what they can do and try new menu items.“
“7/7/23Long overdue post that I kept forgetting to post….I came here with my husband as we were craving Mediterranean and were in the area.We were greeted immediately upon entry and seated. The waiter brought us water and took our order. I love when a restaurant just gives water as if to encourage people to drink more water. We ordered: appetizer sampler for two which was a generous portion and we enjoyed sampling each various appetizer option. We also ordered pan friend veal liver because we’re crunchy like that and wanted to try it. It’s delicious! Definitely get it! Lastly we had the Adana kebab. Everything was delicious and quickly made. Our waiter Savas was great! We also enjoyed some Turkish coffee and that made our experience even grander. This ambiance is awesome, the service is top tier and so is the food. 10/10 recommend!“
“I LOVE this restaurant. I started going soon after they opened. Then I found ways to go as they switched from offering lunch to offering dinner. The food is exceptional: fresh, extremely high quality produce, the cuisine is exquisite, the service is fabulous. I brought my grown children this time, and they both loved it. They had not been. I highly recommend it! Wonderful from beginning to end.“
“Quite possibly the best gyro meat I've ever eaten. The philly gyro with banana peppers and feta cheese is absolutely amazing. The greek fries are also to die for. Service is always excellent. What looks like a tiny hole in the wall in a strip mall might possibly be the best Greek food in Cincinnati.“
“I've only visited twice, food was great, a little pricey, small mom, pop type restaurant, limited seating, but great for takeout, I enjoyed both meals, and will go again, Loaded, and classic Gyros are great, loved the mushrooms, jalapeno peppers with the sweet chili sauce.“
“Two people in our party ordered the liver onions with bacon. Definitely overdone and tough. I stuck with a Greek dish Mousaka. My dish was really good and you also get soup. Split pea soup was really good. I also had green beans with my dish. They tasted like canned string beans and no seasoning. I would definitely go back again and try something else I think it’s best to stick with the Greek selections. Service was good, and they were really busy.“
“Solid Greek spot offering standard and unique gyro options. Pictured is the classic (tomato and onion are under the meat), but I’ve gotten the Philly gyro before to mix it up. Always delicious. Go a little early if you want lunch on a week day. Great to visit during off peak times. Dining area is cozy, but loud when busy.Parking: The lot is shared with other businesses and can be busy. Usually can get a spot though.“
“I thought the food and service was very good but lacked a little in an atmosphere. I just moved to this area a couple years ago and was my first time at this restaurant. I think they need to add a little atmosphere to their restaurant to make it even more appealing.“
“What a treat. Downtown Cincinnati Greek style diner. Good hamburger/cheese burger. Excellent Greek salad with gyro. The Gyro platter was fresh and moist and delicious. The staff is probably my favorite part, they were cracking jokes and laughing and checking on tables, a genuine local diner feel.“
“I couldn't believe such a little diamond in the rough was so close to my home and I had never been. We had heard from a friend they found a wonderful back in time actual diner with great food and a great family owned neighborhood diner and that is exactly what we found. We will be back!“
“Good food for the price. Portions are a little small but a gyro for $10.50 isn’t a bad price. The roasted red potatoes are so flavorful and well seasoned. Definitely worth ordering. A good stop for quick+healthy Mediterranean food!Kid-friendliness: High chairs and a kids menu“
“I have been going to Sebastian's for 20+ years. It's not close to my home so I only make it there about once a year. I have never been disappointed. Get the same thing every time. Gyro and baklava. In my opinion they are the best you can get anywhere. Original owner Alex has retired and the new owner has remodeled. It's still a "hole in the wall" small independent operation but everything is fresh and clean. If you like authentic Greek food this is the place.“
“It's difficult to find a decent Italian Beef anywhere outside of Chicagoland, or really any Italian Beef, this place satisfies that craving wonderfully. The gyros there are also top notch. Food is out quickly and there's a good atmosphere should you choose to dine in. All in all they earned every bit of a 5 star review, and I will most definitely be returning.“
“The old fashion style American bistro with local style chilli offered in few variants is definitely worth the pretty short bus travel from downtown Cincinnati. For me as a European guy it was a remarkable experience to taste American culture. As well as the atmosphere of the surrounding area ?“
