Amazing Birria Tacos, delicious drinks!

Had to try this place when we were exploring Covington. I mean Mexican street dogs and tacos?!? How could we not! I ordered a elote papi jocho dog and birria taco, along with some hibiscus tea (aka jamaica drink). My hubby ordered the eloti papi jocho dog and elote & bacon taco. We ordered the original papas fritas to share. The fries were way undercooked, so the server apologized and took them off the bill. The hot dogs were amazing! Definitely the highlight for both of us. My hubby loved the elote & bacon taco. My birria taco was ok. It was surprisingly bland. I was regretting not ordering the elote & bacon taco! The hibiscus tea was so good. It was on the sweeter side, and not as tart as some places make it, which I liked. The server was super nice and helpful, and even offered to get us some ice water for our trip home. Now that I'm writing a review about this place, I'm really craving the hot dog and hibiscus tea! Whenever we're in the area, we will definitely make a point to go here.

So.... A taco is not a taco. There's cheap okay tacos and then there's the best taco you've ever had! This place is the best! Get the shrimp ones! ? Staff is the best! Great first date. Great environment. Perfect!

This place is one of my favorites in the Cincinnati area. My wife and I loved it so much we went 2 Fridays in a row and I got the exact same thing both times. The food is phenomenal and the staff is very friendly. The food comes from the same kitchen as Agave & Rye so if you like the chips and dip from there you can order it here. We went on a Friday night both times and were seated quickly and our food arrived fairly quick as well.

Man when we walked in I was not sure what to expect but........I have not had a better taco in Cincinnati or Covington. I had the Elote and shrimp tacos. Seasoned and delicious. The Elote was phenomenal. Corn and bacon plus.....OMG. I do not recommend the queso or salsa. It was not for me. Not terrible but don't waste time. I also had a Paloma that was not great. But what you need to come for are definitely the tacos and the Cadillac Margarita. I love Mexican food and I feel bad because I truly don't think I'll go to any of my previous favorites for tacos. They also have street dogs but I haven't had any of those yet. My friend got a carry out for her husband. By the time I let her know I was gone he had eaten his tacos and was ready for the next visit.

It took an hour just to make our food, and still forgot things, even though we were the only people there. The straws had dirt on them. There was WAY too much salt on the chips, about 1.5 teaspoons per chip. The late food was all burnt. A pregnant woman with pink hair who seem to be a regular came in and they automatically serve her before us. And the table that we wanted that was "closed due to covid" was open for her. It was all rubbery too.

Interesting place. We waited quite awhile for help and the tacos seemed a bit greasy. Never got our queso. But the night ended up ok anyway.

I ordered the hibiscus habanero margarita, refreshing and surprisingly spicy, actually spicy! (don't order it if intolerant to heat) Elote & Bacon taco, like a street corn in a taco; Served with 2 salsas - not spicy, would prefer if 1 was. Lastly, El tocino Papi Joncho's, reminded me of the Mexican hot dogs, however it's missing the pickled jalapeños! Overall it was well priced, delicious and Ian was super friendly. Gracias, muy sabroso.

Received my order a few minutes ago just to find metal pieces in me and my moms food, I would not recommend eating here, terrible presentation and I almost broke a tooth on the metal pieces

Unfortunately they have street dogs in the name because the birria tacos here will blow what's being served at the sister store "agave&rye" out of the park! Save yourself the wait next door and get better tacos here!

I absolutely cannot recommend this place enough! A hidden gem of Covington for sure. Easiest the best tacos I’ve ever had in my life. I highly recommend the Pollo Tinga Tacos Jugoso, but there’s really no wrong option. For hot dog fans, all of their street dogs look amazing.

The best margarita I've had recently. Food was delicious, hot and fresh. There could have been a little more shrimp in the shrimp tacos but they were still delectable! Sososo good. My husband was very pleased with his enormous hot dogs. The service was very good. The biggest draw back was that we ate too much and spent the rest of the day in a food coma.

Food tasted good and the staff was nice but 30 minutes my stomach started cramping I’ve been on the toilet for 4 days never again
