On Saturday afternoon around 1:30pm, my friends and I had lunch here and it wasn't good. It wasn't busy. There were a few people at the bar, but nobody else was sitting at any tables. We placed our order with the server, and waited almost 30 minutes for our food. I could understand if the place was busy, but it was not. I ordered the grilled fish tacos and they were not worth the money. There was barely any fish, the tortilla wasn't warmed up on the grill and the tacos had no flavor. My friend thought her chicken sandwich was okay, but loved the fries. Her granddaughter did not like the fajita chicken tacos and we both thought there was something wrong with the salsa – it tasted off. The place is NOT worth your time or money unless you want a drink from the bar.

The Al guy is always there drunk and getting in servers way, and always hovering over the staff and rubbing on them. He's has pushed me out of the way before while I was ordering food, and was dam near in my lap!!!! He is very bad for business. Ashley and Stew and are awesome considering what they put up with from this man. He needs to be band. JS

Great music and fantastic service. Wings were good (habanero mango) but the fried foods weren't awesome. I'll go back and try other stuff.

Bricks and Brews serves American, Indian and Tex Mex, which is quite a wide range of cultural food experiences. It is a small sports bar with a few tables and is a good place for a quick bite in downtown Danville, which is a college town. Even on a Sunday afternoon it was noisy; but, not intolerabley so. I tried the Bombay Shrimp and it was good, the shrimp was nicely cooked and the portion was generous. My lunch companion had the fish sandwich with fries and she said it was very good. I snitched a few fries and they were cooked just right. The server was very pleasant and helpful. It's not fancy but it is good.

I really wanted to give 5 stars. Just a couple of criticisms. It was our first time there, so when we walked in, we didn't know if we should just be seated or wait. It's very casual, so we just seated ourselves. We were then greeted and given menus and gave our drink orders. I tried the orange cream cider, which was very good, but without a drink list, I wasn't sure about pricing or ABV. The food came out pretty quickly after we ordered. My friend had the wings and really liked them. He didn't finish the order because they were very meaty. The Buffalo sauce was just the right amount of heat. The fries were some of the best ever. I had chicken Tikka Masala, which was also delicious. Whatever piece of tortilla(?) you stuck in my foil pan (which is what the meals are served in) was definitely not naan in anyone's imagination. I was told that the owner was of Indian descent, so I would expect something more authentic. It was a big portion and I took home about a third of it. I got a side salad that was buried in cheese, but it was fresh with homemade blue cheese dressing. All-in-all, it was a good experience, and I'll look forward to our next visit and try other menu selections.Parking: We were there on a Saturday afternoon, so we parked in the bank parking lot across the street. Danville spent the entire year adding sidewalk space and a few parking spaces in front. I'm sure on a regular weekday or evening, those spaces stay full. Being a one-way street near a hospital makes it even more of a challenge to find parking.

My wife really liked the loaded hot dog. I had fish tacos. The flour tortillas were not heated and caused fish to cool off before eating.Parking: Parking is behind restaurant and may be inadequate on busy days.

The street corn fries were out of this world. Wonderful food for such a small town. The 2 bartenders were great as well. We were early for lunch so no idea how crowded it can get.

Great beer selection. Food was almost as good as the selection. Unfortunately, the voodoo is a misnomer, not spicy. Was hoping!
