I have been a Burkes customer for many years! Their glazed donuts melt in your mouth. The angel food cakes are so good! My family loves the chocolate donuts! Everything is top notch! Well worth the drive to Danville! (Hot cross buns, an Easter tradition, SO GOOD!)

Found in few places in the US. Everything is crazy affordable. All takeout. A park across the street to eat your sweets.
What can I say about this Danville Gem that anyone that's ever been close to Danville doesn't already know and said themselves? They are an absolutely amazing bakery. From donuts to cakes you can't go wrong. The staff is always wonderful and kind. The smell alone make it worth stoping in. This is not just an amazing bakery it is a right of passage to go here. It is a part of our culture and history.

Ordered a mix of donuts and loaf of sour dough bread. Donuts were pretty good. Sour dough tasted more like brioche bread. Not bad though. Friendly, basic walk up counter, nothing fancy.Parking: Street parking and walked a block.
