The food tastes like your momma made it (if she can cook) and the Friday buffet has endless down home Southern classics that will remind you of country days gone by (unless you are city folk, at which point I’d say just come for the experience and see what real food tastes like). My family and I waited over 35min for our lunch. we were told they had a cook who was home sick. We got up and left. What a waste of time. We never got to try their food. All competent well established, highly reputable restaurants would have preparations ready for when they are short of staff... but this place didn't.
Very busy at lunch time, parking was a bit complicated. The food was lovely, great prices! Definitely recommend!!Parking: If you have an SUV or larger, it is challenging to park, several customers park illegally and block others in.

Its Danvilles best kept secret!When ever we are in town we always stop in.It is as close to home cooking you can have. Only thing missing is Grandma and your kitchen table.These are real genuine people. They do a great job. And they are your neighbors. No big chain restaurant here. So go support them!It is very popular, so parking can be tight.But no worries, more parking is available next door.
