Disappointing. I have been eating there food for a while and it was good before covid. But now it is honestly the worst food. The rice is always dry, the portions are smaller on some items and I had ordered the lo mein which I have had many times before. They brought it out and it was made with spaghetti noodles. I have to say I am so disappointed that one of my favorite restaurants is now the worst restaurant I've been to.

I went to this restaurant in the early 80's. Always fun, great vibe, food always tasted wonderful, and our whole family loved it. Always. My brother went back a few years ago and said the food is still outstanding, and the owner's son now runs the establishment. When I visit I look forward to revisiting this restaurant very much!
I actually got charged for a to go container because my food has a lot of juice and I didn’t want it to spill out of the styrofoam container. Are you kidding me!

The Green Bamboo used to have very good food but appear to have succumbed to inflationary pressures. I ordered three chicken dishes. The amount of chicken has been noticeably reduced, I suspect du to the price of chicken as been the flavor, no doubt due to the price of spices. One dish in particular, the Schezuan Chicken was mostly shredded carrots that dominated the flavor. I used to look forward to eating Asian food from the Green Bamboo but the value is so poor and my disappointment so great that I will no longer order from them, nor take guests there for business lunches!

In my first review several years ago, I said it was the "Best tasting Chinese food in Kentucky!!", However, I now have to edit this review... They must have changed cooks sometime ago since my last visit because the taste and quality of the food is no longer the same as before. This is a shame because I really enjoyed coming here and getting a good meal. I can only hope they might correct this in the future but for now it's not the best..
