“I've lived within walking distance for almost a year but finally took a chance on take out. Ordering over the phone was easy enough and the food is surprisingly good! I had a blt and my boyfriend got wings and fries. The fries are really good! The reason I rated 4 out of 5 is because the menu isn't very accessible. I found one from 2021 on their facebook page, but some things we tried to order off that menu aren't actually available anymore. Make a menu accessible online and everything will be peachy!“
“This has been a stop on our way from Ohio down I-71 the last 3 times we’ve traveled south. Great downtown atmosphere and beer selection. Service has always been attentive. It’s a fun break and change from the fast food stops just off the highway. Gives you a chance to stretch your legs.“
“We were traveling through town in our RV. We stopped at Waters edge next door through harvest host. They were closed due to a private party. We heard music coming from the Goldenrod Tavern and decided to try it. It was a great experience. We met the owners Gary and Diane. The staff was very friendly. We sat at the bar and had the Turkey Pesto and the Reuben. Both were excellent. Plenty of drink options and the prices were very reasonable. We will definitely stop here when we pass this way again.Parking: Plenty of parking for an RV next door at Waters edge but you must make a reservation through Harvest Host if you plan to spend the night.“
