Despite being a regular Cincinnati chili consumer unfortunately my visit to gold star this day really messed up my stomach. The food was tasty and the service was great. Sadly I think I'll keep with my normal skyline habits down the street

Today, I had my FIRST ever positive experience at this establishment. This was all due to 2 kids working this evening, Fred & Skyler (hopefully this is the correct spelling as her name was communicated via conversation). Perfect employees - adult, professional, polite, efficient, willing to go above their duties & lovely people to talk to while waiting for my food. Despite this IDEAL experience, I can’t bring myself to give more than the bare minimum review after hearing how these KIDS are treated, paid & the responsibilities they handle (which are FAR above what they should be doing at their age…). Do better. Pay them better. Treat them better. And shame on whoever their manager is.

Bad parking, waitress got pissy when asked questions. She was new and didn't know her job yet. We were told the fryer was down until we asked fir them to substitute cheese coney's. Then miracles happen and they have fries.

I buy a shake almost every night, and on this night in particular I received the saddest shake known to man. There wasn’t any whipped cream( i wasn’t asked if I didn’t want any nor was I told that they were out) and the shake wasn’t even filled, the consistency was like water. I do like coming here and the shakes are good, but if I’m paying 6 bucks for a drink I’d hope it At least looks like a shake.
