Best sambusa I've ever had. Very cool interior I didn't expect and the server was incredibly kind and helpful. Loved it.

This place is absolutely fantastic. Every dish was so flavorful and a joy to eat. We had sambusa which was super crispy and full of filling, served with a spicy green sauce and a creamy yogurt sauce, chicken cooked in Somalian spices, and lamb shank on rice. Our server was very friendly and enthusiastic. The tables inside are big and there are a lot of booths.

Absolutely amazing restaurant with the most calm and beautiful atmosphere, Senegalese and Ethiopian food to die for, and the nicest workers I have met in a long while. The only issue for them is that they're a bit hard to see from the street, but once you find them you will be hooked!

We really enjoyed our meal! The employees were so nice. I had a lamb dish, Amy had Chicken Sugaar. They were both delicious. The appetizer was super yummy too. These small, local businesses have some of the best food in NKY. Stop in. Try some!I need to go back for the banana butter milk shake myself!

Everything we had was excellent. Sambusa app, chicken and beef suqaar with rice and flatbread. The watermelon and mango juices were amazing as well. The owner was very friendly and took great care of us. As many other have said he gave us free spiced tea at the end of our meal which was also excellent. Just fyi There is a slight language barrier but we got everything we asked for with no issues.

We came here for lunch at around 1pm and there was no one there to take our order. After some waiting, help finally arrived and they definitely made up for the delay. The food was delicious, the service was good, and the lady at the counter gave us free spiced tea as we were leaving (the tea was also delicious).Heads up, the food here is Somalian, and the prevailing language here is not English. It's not for everyone, but if you're in the mood for authentic African fare then this is the place!

A cozy little restaurant sharing a building with an African market, Chef Lul welcomes you to taste a surprisingly range of Somali, Ethiopian, and Senegalese dishes. We had the sambusas--crisp and full of richly spiced beef; goat (with bones) in with a thin bread to scoop up the flavorful sauce, and roasted lamb with cardamom rice. The green sauce on the side added fragrant spiciness to the dishes. All the dishes were excellent and very different. Lul and others (family?) were created a warm, friendly environment. Looking forward to coming back again to try the rest of the menu!
