We came here for some vegan ice cream (after dinner 3/15)- listed online and in storeWhen we ordered the person behind the counter seemed confused and didn't understand what vegan ice cream was and we had to explain and refer to menu. She said "doesn't all ice cream have dairy?" We explained how ice cream is vegan. The person said they were out of the vegan option, but offered us a "soy based product," but couldn't tell us if there was any dairy in the product. My daughter has dairy allergies and this was super frustrating, she was crying by the time we left.We found a vegan option elsewhere. We will be back to FT and hope we can visit again and have a better experience. The place is lovely and seems super kid friendly- minus the insensitivity and lack of understanding to kids with dietary restrictions.

This was my first visit to Hello Honey. I've got to say, I really didn't care for this ice cream. I've heard rave reviews about how great and unique their ice cream was so it was a little disappointing. I ordered the peanut butter chip, and my friend ordered the banana honey comb. I did not like either. Both tasted almost grainy, or freezer burnt. Or maybe both. The young woman working tonight was very kind and greeted us immediately. I'm sure it's boring working at an ice cream shop in the winter, but she didn't seem bored and was very friendly. The shop itself was very cute. I liked the mural on the wall. The jug of water on the bar with the tiny cups was a great idea for an ice cream shop.

It pains me to leave this review but the Ft Thomas location is just a sad shell of what Hello Honey should be. The first issue is that the shop has been closed during advertised business hours 3 out of the last 5 times I've tried to stop by. When they are open the shop doesn't feel particularly inviting as there's usually only one person working who clearly doesn't want to be bothered. All locations share an Instagram where they advertise flavors but this location usually doesn't have them. One of the highlights of Hello Honey are the fresh waffle cones but nah-nah! Not here. Sometimes they are pre-made but when they do make one on the spot they tend to rush it and undercook it. The waffle maker was apparently broken the last time I stopped by so they picked up a replacement from a local store and it took a while. The employee was clearly annoyed but continued with it and handed me a disaster of a cone that required a cup just to salvage the ice cream. It didn't help that he rushed to put the scoop into the scorching hot, undercooked cone. If you're in Ft Thomas and want ice cream I'd suggest skipping this place and going to The Parlor or Graeter's.

Very unique flavors. Made from scratch tasty cakes and ice cream, can't get any better than that ?

Ice cream was more like ice milk and flavor was lacking. Graeter’s is much better as is Kroger Private Selection and both less expensive. Service was quick but certainly not friendly. Sorry, I try to support local establishments but not when the product quality and service are subpar.

Cute space. They have fun ice cream choices that were delicious and they also have what are like rolled up cakes (think pumpkin roll) that were also very flavorful! Games in the back for kids as well.

Lovely little ice cream shop! The Honey Lavender and Berry Earl Grey ice creams are delicious! They also have pretty and tasty looking cakes.

Great cake rolls.

All over a terrible experience. The ice cream had an unpleasant texture and a stale aftertaste. The man working behind the counter was incredibly rude. He did not greet us even after we greeted him, and then he barely acknowledged us for the duration of our visit. We mentioned that it was our first time trying this ice cream and got no response, he quite literally just turned and walked away. Overall, we were made to feel like an inconvenience rather than valued customers.
