“I ordered the beef rendang on DoorDash, as I'm Indonesian and from Maryland but just moved to Cincy from Myrtle Beach (absolutely no diversity there). It was sweet, spicy, and tender; almost exactly like how my mom would make it. Thank you for a wonderful and refreshing meal to remind me of home, especially as Ramadan is approaching. Absolutely delicious!I do wish the portion size was bigger. Maybe it's because when my mom would cook it, I could keep coming back for more, but it did seem like a bit of a smaller portion for $14.“
“Came with a group for lunch. Everything was good. The only complaint from the group was the Swamp Mud drink, apparently it tasted like a black licorice liquor was mixed in for the coloring effect. But the other drinks were on point. The pasta dish was excellent. We will definitely be back.“
“We are on vacation visiting family in Kentucky when we ended up in the restraunt. Welcoming is an understatement. The food was amazing and the service was even better. While we were eating lunch, Guy the owner came out to talk to us and donated an electric wheelchair to my son who has a manual wheel chair. My son is so excited and so happy he met someone so generous who also had a bad motorcycle accident like him. We are so blessed to have come in that day and be given something that we would not have gotten otherwise! Thank you so much Guy and team!Wheelchair accessibility: Not many places are actually handicap accessible. This place was spacious and we had lots of room!“
“Enjoyed food and sevice.Would recommend that the lady working the front end be rewarded from owner for the great work she did for all in the store and drive up window. I can't imagine a person who could have performed at her level. The kitchen staff also did great on their side.“
“If you ask how I want the burger cooked, you got to deliver. I said medium, and I got well done, not burnt or dry though. It was still juicy and seasoned fine. It was just "eh". A $16 burger should make want to come back. Fries were seasoned well and crispy.“

“We were traveling from Louisville KY to home in Akron Ohio. We were craving some bbq! We found Beards and Belly and went to check it out. We were so happy we did! Food was AMAZING!! Their recipe for greens, potato salad and pickle salad were the best we’ve ever had!! BBQ was AMAZING! Brisket, pork belly and sausage! It was definitely finger licking good!! “Visited for early dinner or late lunch maybe.Tried ribs, and they have the option of two sides and you can decide how many ribs you have, options start at two and go up by 2 until 12 I think.Sides options include beans, mashed potatoes, mac and cheese, coleslaw, cornbread.Tried mashed potatoes and mac & cheese which I preferred over the potatoes. They had a good taste.Overall food taste very good. Ribs were soft and tasted good.Would of course recommend.“
“I've never had a bad meal at this place. The food is always good and the service is exceptional. Considering this is a chain restaurant, it blows my mond how good their steaks can be. I've had a better steak here than what I've had at Walt's or Ruby's, I kid you not. Every time I eat here, it is consistently good, the food is fresh and well prepared.“
“I have been staying at The Phelps for business. I frequently get in late, and quite frankly do not feel like going out. The Phelps Bar is the perfect solution. I have been staying at The Phelps Hotel on and off for roughly a month so far. I have had most of their menu items and have yet to have one that has not been excellent. They recently changed their food and drink menu, so there are many new items to try. They have an outstanding "Signature Drink" Menu. My favorite is the Fig & Rosemary Old Fashioned that is hands down the very best Old Fashioned I have had anywhere, and that includes The Greenbrier Resort. The staff are all amazing and help to make the experience even better. My hat is off to Mark (I think he is the manager), Kat and Tynisa who run the bar, and David the cook. If you find yourself in the Downtown Cincinnati area close to the stadiums, then you really should try The Phelps Bar. You will not be disappointed.“
“IMO the best BBQ I've found in the Cincinnati area. The prices are more reasonable than most others and the quality of the ribs and brisket is unsurpassed. My biggest complaints are the limited hours they are open and the fact that they are, in effect carry out only.“

“A great classic Cincinnati pub up in Mt. Adams and on the northend of the main strip. A historical building that has been treasured for years creates an amazing setting for great grub and good times. The menu is eclectic and the drinks are good. Have gone many times when in town for business or visiting my daughter at UC. Easily accessed from downtown or campus. Parking is on the street & is always interesting. Folks are always friendly & helpful. A good cultural destination if you're looking for a classic Cincinnati experience. Then go around the corner and enjoy some live music at The Blind Lemon!“

They offer nonprofits a chance to raise funds by donating 20% of sales on designated days. Now that's some tasty philanthropy!“
