Very accepting and yummy food. A little more on the expensive side but it's totally worth it in the end!

Holy cow!!! The BEST pizza! I also had the the Cobb salad, and we ordered pretzels. All of the food was very good. Even the marinara sauce for dipping impressed me.We got an extra pizza to take away, because it was so good. If we lived local, this would be a go to spot for us.

Very cool spot, awesome staff. Really nice set up and good music. They support and source locally. We liked everything here but our pizza’s fell a bit short. They had too much cheese and not enough marinara. Dough was pressed to flat which leaves nothing to counter the grease that comes from the fat when cheese is cooked. These two combined made for floppy, greasy pizza. Whilst they tasted good…it took a lot of grease soaked napkins to get there lol. We were there pretty late so maybe just bad timing. Will be back to try again! Also the guy on the guitar was awesome!

Expensive. Pizza is one size, 12 inches. Salad was okay but really small. Small salad was like $10, double was $16. We got the small and small it was. The pizza was pepperoni, local bacon - which was not very good, local onion, extra cheese. It wasn’t very good. We should have ordered from house pizza, not custom. One pizza, one small salad, one Ale-8, one water was almost 50 bucks with tip. Wanted a beer but it was $9 I think so passed on that. Small portions. Paper plates for pizza, cardboard box for the salad. Picnic tables were all we saw for seating.

This was our first stop upon our arrival to Frankfort. We chose this place based on previous reviews, a pet-friendly option, and the kids play area. The market is pretty nice with meats, cheese, and produce options. We ate lunch here and the pizza was really good. They have several beers available on draft. Since it was St. Patrick's day, they even had a green beer available that day! They have several tables inside and out on the patio. Our dog was allowed inside, which was nice because the wind made it a bit of a chilly day. Our daughter enjoyed the play area. The staff were friendly and helpful.

We ordered the Kentucky Cobb Salad, the Carnivore, Local Supreme, and Chicken Bacon Ranch pizzas. A fantastic, fresh, local resource. Everything was amazing and it’s must stop if you are going through!

I loved this place!! It's a cool little place to grab a bite and a beer. Looks like they source a bunch of their stuff/ingredients locally.Definitely a great place to grab lunch after a bourbon tasting, which is what we were doing there. Lol. Yum

For a pizza and small grocery store, it was a different take. The Local is a locally owned brick fired pizza place that has a tin crusted pizza with a decent amount of choices. Service was good and it was clean. It had a decent sized seating area with picnic tabkes for seating. I would have liked a little bit more of a well done on the crust, but all tasted good.
