“Took a big group of family here a few weeks back, great experience, wonderful little town. Food is good coutry cooking, everyone got something different so we could all try things. The cornbread is the best!! Get there early if you have a big group right at 11 when they open, they fill up fast and only 2 good size rooms to hold a group like 10-12. Will def be back!!“

“Been here three times so far after spending the day working as a vendor at the facility across the way. Serve breakfast all day and that's basically what I order. The pancake breakfast is great! Huge pancakes for your money. Definitely will leave with a full belly!“

“The food was overall delicious. Portion sizes are large and filling. Only thing that was not up to standard was the crispy chicken was overcooked, dry,and lacked seasoning. I ordered it as an extra with the pineapple fried rice. The chicken that comes in the fried rice was much better and next time I won't add on the crispy. If you don't know what to order, try my favorite, Chicken fresh rolls. We also tried the long life rolls and they are a close second.“

“I hadn’t been to Back Home for a while, but a friend and I decided to go there last night and it was just as I remembered. Our food was delicious and the service was outstanding. We got fried green tomatoes and both of us ordered Beans and Cornbread for our meal. It tasted just like the beans and cornbread my mom used to make so it brought back sweet memories. I will definitely be going back.“

“It was all so amazing bro and usually I’m pretty picky ? the food not only smelt and tasted amazing, but the presentation was absolutely great as well. The inside of the place was very cute and everyone there, worker or customer, was extremely nice and respectful. They also have a mini store inside the building that sells pretty nice items. And everything is really good with pricing. This place definitely deserve every 5 stars they get and i definitely will recommend it to people.“

“The atmosphere was good the Steak was good and cooked as ordered. The service was good but wasn’t the best that I have had. My baked potato was good and the salad was fresh and cold as expected. All in all I would recommend the Texas Roadhouse in Elizabethtown Kentucky. I was very satisfied with my steak.“

“El Acapulco is more than just a restaurant; it's an experience that tantalizes the taste buds. It boasts an extensive menu featuring an array of amazing dishes. From sizzling fajitas to savory enchiladas, each dish is crafted with care and expertise. My personal favorite is the Chori Pollo.?“
“i never feel afraid to go in here and say "hey i'm a girly who hates beer and thinks it's nasty can you please give me something fruity and yummy" and they always give me something that tastes great and that appeals to my girlypop sensibilities, the lady behind the bar was so fun and friendly and she was a great help it's always a pleasure to get to go to flywheel!“

“We visited for lunch and was overall happy with this place. The music was good and the waitress was very attentive. The burgers and sandwiches are pretty big and tasty. The only issue we had was the chicken from the bluegrass sandwich. It was overcooked and tough.“

We will definitely be back!Kid-friendliness: My son loved it! His beef burrito was full of flavor and he couldn't get enough of the queso dip.“

“Food was good, but i expected a little bit more spices in sauce. The service was medium. It looked like we got there during shift change. The bartenders wete busy and kept us happy and smiling. I will go back to try some of the other dishes. The meatballs were great.Parking: I parked around by the courthouse. Plenty of parking spaces and a nice walk to restaurant and back. I like seeing the many changes to our beautiful downtown elizabethtown, KY.Wheelchair accessibility: There is a walk up ramp very easy to access“

“We were greeted kindly when we first walked in the door in the true spirit of southern hospitality which is big, and they were able to get us seated quickly and gave us this incredble server named Melody who was knowledgable about the menu was able to accommodate our requests involving menu items, and was always checking on her tables. The pricing and portions were great considering how high the prices of meat have climbed recently. The mac-n-cheese was the best i've ever had. I also couldn't believe how fast their kitchen could turn out a high quality order. Mark's feed store has the true spirit of a rural feed mill, it definitly reminded me of the hills of Eastern Kentucky. The bathrooms were getting cleaned while we were there, even though they were already in great shape. The signage looked authentic, and their walls told their story. This Southern style restaurant makes you feel like you're apart of their family. I hope to visit again soon, it's rare to see a store this well managed with staff who's equally as caring.Kid-friendliness: They don't necessarily have an exact kid menu separate, but they have appropriately sized children's portions, and the staff are kind to children of all ages. There's booster seats, high chairs, and the food comes out so FAST, there's not much lag time.“

“Food was amazing! Definitely will be back. The pricing on the menus is however not correct as they have updated prices that reflects on the receipt that are different than the online menu or their laminated menu they hand you. Just be mindful it will cost more than advertised but it is worth it.“

“The food is great - especially if it's busy. But if you don't see something on the buffet, just ask. We have been going here for at least 15 years, maybe more. Ever since it opened anyways, we have been customers. Simon and his crew are super friendly. They make the best orange chicken ever! And lots of desserts to choose from. Crab Rangoons, Egg Rolls- we will probably have to go tomorrow! Ha ha“

“We stopped here while traveling and it was a busy restaurant. The bar seemed like a lot of locals on Friday night. We felt the salsa was bland. The chicken in my dish was very tender. The service was a little lacking and we had to chase down the server to get our check and we got tired of waiting again for her to take our money so we went to the hostess stand. Food wasn't bad but the salsa definitely was lacking.“

“Not bad, not great either. Food was average (I did the buffet) but the service was on point! I would give it another shot from the short order menu next time. Waitresses were all very helpful and went out of their way to give great customer service!“

“This has been a stop on our way from Ohio down I-71 the last 3 times we’ve traveled south. Great downtown atmosphere and beer selection. Service has always been attentive. It’s a fun break and change from the fast food stops just off the highway. Gives you a chance to stretch your legs.“

“We really enjoyed the pecan pancakes and other sides here. Waitresses here we're very good, experienced and helpful. She was already on top of it with extra napkins for our kids. We never had to worry about asking for refills, they were on top of it. Only issue is that there is an upcharge for plain hash browns instead of getting the hash brown casserole.Vegetarian options: Highly recommend the impossible sausage. The price has come down on it and made it more reasonable. Plus, I wouldn't pass on the biscuits here. Combined with pancakes it's a win-win. The only thing that I would speak against is the hash brown situation.. if you look at the menu the only thing that's available are various types of hash brown casserole, which doesn't work for people who don't want meet or cheese and other things, but there's an upcharge from the price of the casserole just for plain hash browns on the side? What's up with that?“

“Let me preface this review by saying that I lived in Japan for many years.I have experienced sushi good and bad. Kansai Japanese Steakhouse is excellent in all aspects as far as sushi and sashimi goes. I have not tried the teppan yaki meals yet, but I plan to in the near future. We opted for the Chef's special sushi and sashimi combo meal that also includes two very delicious sushi rolls. We added a side of eda mame for an appetizer. Everything was fantastic. The sushi and sashimi was very fresh. The rolls were amazing as well. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. If you find yourself near Ft. Knox, make Kansai a must experience on your culinary quest.“

Wide variety of delicious food to please the whole family, from the picky eater to the one looking for something unique. We started with coconut shrimp which were excellent.I thoroughly enjoyed my stuffed quail, tried a few bites of my family’s entrees and enjoyed them too. The fish and chips were also wonderful, as were the chicken livers, some of the best I’d ever had!Great place for a family meal, or a nice date. I certainly would enjoy dining here more often. The owner, Tony York, is a delightful host and very hospitable.“
