Good place to park !

Awful food by an untalented chef. Overpriced, below average cuisine. Soggy burger, lower than supermarket quality cuts of steak. Flavors and textures were seriously off on every single dish. Gross. Please go out of business if you can't replace your chef!

First time here and I’m local, placed a take out order of the fried chicken and had a peerless manhattan at bar while I waited…extra cherries. Service was attentive and cordial. Ended up diving head first into the meal in my car while I remained parked…it was that good, haha. Will be back soon…

Not for special occasions. Our first visit here was for our anniversary last year. The ambiance was lovely, the food was great, and we decided The Pine Room would be our spot for special occasions moving forward. Before our first visit, we called in to let the hostess know that one of us had a specific dietary need. The person who answered the phone told us to just put this information in the reservation online so we did. It was never addressed by the hostess upon arrival, but that was fine - we just let our waiter know.We came a second time a few months back and brought some friends. The food was considerably worse than the first time we came (cold upon arrival and dietary needs ignored) but just thought it was an off night, we hadn't written The Pine Room off yet.Our visit tonight was really quite poor. We again called ahead to let the staff know about the dietary need, and that we would be celebrating my husband's birthday. We were again told to put this information in the reservation online. Upon arrival, neither my husband's birthday or the dietary need were addressed. Our waiter did not spend any time with us and rushed us in to ordering as quickly as possible, never allowing me to let her know of the birthday and how exited we were to be spending it at The Pine Room. We were at the table in the corner behind the bar and it seemed like it was an inconvenience for her to wait on us because she had to walk around the bar and the patrons sitting there each time. We did the best we could ordering with the dietary need and hoped for the best. The food was really just okay. The pasta came out cold and the vegetables were not seasoned, and my husband was brought the wrong drink and the waiter who brought it was gone before we could correct them.We overheard the birthday song being played for another customer across the restaurant. I guess their waiter had more time to talk to the table. I got up to say something to the hostess about my husband's birthday, but at this point he didn't want me to make a fuss.At the end of the evening, we were rushed out quickly and my credit card was left behind. The staff did call to inform us which is very appreciated. We truly look for the best in every experience and would love to try The Pine Room again someday. But I think we will look for a different restaurant for special occasions moving forward.

One of the best meals and service I've had in a while - Fried chicken meal, Brussels sprouts, cauliflower... all were so delicious! Will definitely be back to try the rest of the menu!

My friend and I went for a Christmas get-together and sat at the bar. It took a while to get a seat at the bar but we were able to order a drink while we waited. We shared the nachos which were delicious and had a dessert (the flan & the tres leches cake which were both phenomenal). The staff were all friendly and we felt very welcomed despite not being regulars. We both really enjoyed our evening at The Pine Room and can’t wait to return!Parking: The only downside to the parking is that it’s not well lit at all.

I've never been to this part of the city. The restaurant is tucked away among the trees. It's so charming and clean inside. I was only a party of 1 and was seated immediately. Server was great. I didn't order an appetizer so the food pace was off a bit, between getting my drink and entree but I understand. I ordered a mocktail Harrod's Creek FizzSuper yummy and not too sweetEntree - Salmon with pesto couscous This was sooo goodSalmon was medium in temp which was perfect - moist and rich. Flavor was amazing. The pesto couscous was delicious. Panna cotta dessert - this was excellent too! Raspberry sorbet was refreshing. Whipped cream went well with the panna cotta. I'm used to panna cotta being a bit looser but the flavor was so good that it's okay! Highly recommendI originally wanted the cherry pie but it is a 15 min wait. I'll have to come back and order it ahead of time.

I visited the Pine Room for the first time last week. It was quaint but cozy, loved the bar and the piano player. We ordered the mushroom tartine as an appetizer. The bread was a little too hard for my liking. However, my basil gimlet was delicious! I ordered the pesto pasta for my entree, it was just ok, I would probably order something different my second time around.

Excellent dinner and nice, casual ambience. Only reason not to give it 5 stars is we thought it was a bit on the high end price wise for what it is.Very good Manhattan to start the evening, along with the Klaus pretzel bread and a delicious bourbon queso. Only wish there was more bread to go with that queso--could drink or inject that stuff! We split a simple salad with a delish peppercorn dressing that we subbed for the dressing that came with the salad.Wife had the mushroom tacos, an unusual offering that she liked a lot. I had the fried chicken, which came with excellent greens and mashed potatoes as well as an interesting buttermilk/black pepper biscuit/puff. Chicken came with a honey hot sauce I ordered on the side that added some nice heat. Chicken was crispy on outside, juicy on inside and nicely seasoned. Only complaint was it was a rather small breast with the drummie portion of a wing attached. At that price I was expecting a bit larger portion. Friendly, attention service. Nice room, just a little loud for conversation because of the wood floors. But still the Pine Room proved to be a nice destination for dinner.

The food and ambience was really nice! All of the food we had was so good. I never had fried artichokes and it was really good. Especially with the sauce. I was surprised how good the fried mushrooms were. They had flavor and the refried beans were delicious. Our last entree , the fried chicken meal is definitely a recommended try. The fried chicken was fried to perfection and so juicy. I didn't care too much for the cornbread but the greens and potatoes was really good.
