We are new to Harrodsburg and have tried several restaurants in town but have quickly decided that LaFonda is our favorite! The food (get the guacamole !) is always delicious & cooked to order (have an unusual allergy ?), hot and ready in minutes. The atmosphere is casual and relaxed. The drinks are spot on and your glass is never empty.

It was my first time here with my husband.. Poor customer service, wrong order was given & no way of getting it fixed because the server never explain the ordering to us or did not understand when we asked him questions. The food was not flavorful at all, very bland. Ordered the carnitas and it was not even cook correctly. It should've been shredded and crispy like the pictures, and i receive soggy i oily cubes of meat, mostly fat. I wouldve rather not have eaten anything and starved. Go elsewhere...save your money and tastebuds.

La Fonda’s is my favorite Mexican restaurant. I think their chimichanga and their Chile relleno are THE best I’ve ever eaten. I also love their grilled chicken salad and chiliquiles Mexicanos. They are always consistent with no disappointments. Their staff is always friendly and attentive.
