Bodega is a combination store and diner. I went in to check it out with tacos de lengua and some jamaica and found both to be very good. The tacos were loaded with meat and garnished with fresh cilantro, onions, radish slices, cucumber slices, and salsa. The food was delicious and arrived quickly. Highly recommend if you want authentic Mexican food.

So excited to finally try the Bodega Market! The best authentic Mexican food in the area. Delicious. Staff was very kind, food came out quickly for my carry out order! LOVED the hibiscus water and the birria tacos. Can’t wait to make my way through the menu.

Walking in, you can tell it's just a fantastic atmosphere. The people were very friendly and attentive. Very inviting. I ordered chicken fingers and fries. The chicken and fries were both very crispy and yummy. I will definitely go back to try more of their menu items.(I already started munching before taking the picture. It's so good.)

Today was my second time trying Bodega Market Luncheria and it was absolutely amazing both times! Service - 10/10, Food, 10/10. The workers are so sweet, helpful, and accommodating. The food is absolutely amazing. The birria tacos were some of the best I've had, the fresh guacamole was delicious, the salsa and queso are great. Also tried hardshell tacos and a beef burrito, all of which were great! The fruits salad with tajin and chamoy... Oh my goodness! So fresh and flavorful. I have driven from Evansville twice to get their food and will continue to. I am hoping in the future so try some desserts like maybe churros? They said they would be adding desserts in the future. I can't wait to see this place grow and continue to enjoy there delicious food! A must try if you are looking for fresh. flavorful food and a friendly environment.

A friend on Facebook recommended Bodega, and I'm really glad that I checked it out. Run by a local family, Bodega brings another authentic layer to Henderson's Mexican food offerings, and places it in an area of town desperately in need of revitalization. They have daily specials and staples like ceviche, birria, street tacos, bacon-wrapped hot dogs, sopas, guisos, and one of my favorites: elotes. As if the food wasn't enough, you can stock up on Mexican groceries while you're there. Everything from galletas, Mexican sodas, masa husks, rice, and a ton of other fresh ingredients for your pantry. To top it all off, the family that operates Bodega are friendly and ready to make your visit a good one. That birria sopa speaks for itself, but it's nice to know that kind people are behind the flavor.
