Gave it 3 stars but could be 5 or 0 as we didn’t stop to eat. Came based on the TA reviews and because my kids wanted pizza. However now under new management so the pizzas have gone. Seem to do Mexican (and Thai) food instead now. Seemed like a nice place. Staff were pleasant. Just not what we were looking for. Absolutely nothing wrong with it from what I could see.

Called in here earlier in the week for a cool drink…great experience. Decided to come back tonight for more. Very satisfied with Thai pork balls cooked to order, and even asked how spicy we would like. Super delicious. Other delicious items included wings, and marinaded chicken. Very fresh and delicious. Very reasonably priced and lovely music. Definitely worth a try.

Staying at New Siam II. Took a walk and found place to eat. Took a right out of our hotel, another right down an alley and a third right. Half way down the block was the Alley Cat Restaurant and Bar. I had the Thai Omelet with vegetables and my spouse had Scrambled Eggs & Toast. Both had a great cup of very hot coffee. Service was a little slow.

Our last night in Bangkok and we chose to eat here after a few days eating in this street.. Big mistake....we waited over an hour for Pork balls and Pad Thai The pad Thai was apparently rated the best in the area but the night before I had an amazing one just a few meters away. So disappointed as my husband and I wanted to have a nice memorable evening....I just went back to our hotel annoyed !! Food was ok

The iced coffee was watery and horrible (for which the owner blamed the ice melting???). Other iced coffees I've had have been fine! For this miserable coffee I was charged 70 baht, when most places charge 40-50. Disappointing and overpriced. The owner is a bit Basil Fawlty.

Plus they give something back to the felines in the area! Loved it here. Friendly people. Food was really good, couple of curries and the pork balls - very good. Nice white wine for me and the usual cold chang for the other half. Nice clean toilets as well, I suspect we will return before we leave Bangkok.

The Alley Cat is a quiet oasis away from the hustle and bustle of the Khaosan Road. Ice cream is delicious. English tea made with hot water, yes, hot water. Lovely big comfy couches on which to watch the world go buy. Staff are very accommodating. Loved it here.
