I've had barbeque from all over and based on their reviews decided to stop here.First off, the nice lady who greeted me with a smile and took my order gets 2 thumbs way up??.I ordered the 3 meat combo. The ribs and chicken were tender but lacked seasoning and tasted bland. The brisket was about 50 percent fat and lacked flavor as well. I had the spicy and mild sauces, neither of them helped the flavor for me. The potato salad was decent but the baked beans tasted straight from the can. I ate about half my meal and had to toss the rest.

The pork chop sandwich is not like it used to be ! It had Two pieces of pork chop on it instead of one big one .
I have been eating here for years and never had a bad experience. The food is always excellent and the portions are large for leftovers. They are consistent with their great service, tasty food, and family friendly atmosphere!Kid-friendliness: Family friendly atmosphere. I haven’t had anything off their kids’ menu.
My wife and I have eaten here several times now. Always consistently excellent, both the sides and the meats - no matter what we have. And the portions of meat are generous.I am partial to the brisket: melt in your mouth good (and it’s hard to get good brisket in KY).So although others may go elsewhere, when we’re at home and want BBQ, it’s Bar B Que Shack.

I got brisket for Christmas this year from BBQ Shack. It was DELICIOUS!!NEXT year, I'm going to have to add a couple of more pounds to the order because it was a HIT!! Not a "scrap" left.The staff was very polite and helpful. I've known Mindy for several years, and she made sure everything with my order went smoothly. Thank you!!

Tried this place twice since I've been back home. First time, mutton plate was phenomenal.2nd time, I got a pound of mutton and a pound of brisket - beyond subpar. Everyone who ate the brisket woke up with a terrible upset stomach throughout the night/morning??Their sides are subpar as well.Brisket had zero flavor. However, I like how it was on the meaty side and not so fatty.The dipping sauce has zero kick or boldness to it.Also, that owner/manager and some of the staff... needs to work on their communication and customer service skills.No wonder locals say they've never eaten out there, and they live in the vicinity of the shaq!I also get 1950's energy out of the environment.
