HORRIBLE! Service is miserable. Waited in drive through with no one in front of me for over 5 minutes, pulled around to see employees all standing there talking and on their phones instead of taking orders. The girl was very rude and unprofessional once she opened the window. Food use to be good but the current staff has made it all nasty. They don't clean the dining room, it's always dirty when we went in.. called their home office and got the excuse that it's a private franchise so they can't do anything.. NEVER going back to this hog pen of a restaurant.

Went through drive thru for a salad and a sandwich, paid then we had to pull up and wait for 20 min as we watched 5 other cars pull up to wait in their food! After 20 min girl came out carrying 6 bags, passed them all out to everyone before us, no apology for the wait just "here".The most unprofessional, inconsiderate and worst customer service I've ever had there. Used to be a loyal customer, I'm done after today's experience

The food was really good considering it was all fried but very tasty. The service was fine not particularly friendly, except one lady was very friendly. Everybody else was kind of OK whatever. But it didn't take long to get our food. It was very quick. Nice ambience, the restaurant was clean and the bathrooms clean. Plenty of parking.

3/17/22, 4:40PM What Brandon W. said. We're traveling out of state for work and decided to stop for some good food, but were immediately greeted with sour stares from *EACH AND EVERY SINGLE* employee behind the counter upon walking in the door. We were just looking to buy some food to eat, but we didn't even feel welcomed to do that. We were standing at the counter waiting to order while the female employee (named Princess) stared down at the register the entire time we were standing there, not even bothering to look up at us and acknowledge our existence even though she had just helped the person before us. We patiently waited for a couple of uncomfortable minutes until we could be greeted by this employee but she never spoke to us even though we tried asking if she was ready to take our order. She ignored us, then said something very quietly and indistinguishable under her breath to another employee right next to her, and they both giggled- we couldn't seem to get a standard "Hi, we'll be right with you" from anyone here - the only interaction we got from the employees here were teenage, high school, immature shenanigans. Princess then left the register without meeting our gaze or saying a single word to us. My boyfriend and I are kindhearted people to anyone and everyone so we were both nothing but nice to the employees in this restaurant, but it didn't matter - their minds were already made up that they didn't want to have anything to do with us from the moment our feet stepped foot in this establishment. We both felt as though we were not welcome in any way shape or form, even though we're kind, paying customers simply looking to fill our empty traveling stomachs, so we left mid-meal and finished eating in our Sprinter Van. Eating a meal should never feel this uncomfortable. It shouldn't matter what color your skin is, language you speak, or where you're from - you should not be treated like cow manure on the bottom of someone's shoe if you don't meet their bs requirements for people they CHOOSE to serve. DO NOT COME HERE unless you want to be treated poorly and ignored by all employees if you don't fit their ideal demographic. I know nothing about this chain, but sincerely hope that other Zaxby's locations do not treat their paying customers this way. Had we not been treated the way we were, we would very likely return to any of their locations in the future - now, we won't, for obvious reasons. We had every opportunity in the world to be just as rude to all 10-ish employees working at the time of our visit, but we chose not to because we were raised to be better than that. Our "please's" and "thank you's" were sincere even though none of those workers were. We treat EVERYONE with respect. I don't care how good the food is. If the experience left a disgusting taste in our mouth like this, which it absolutely did, we will not be returning. I would give 0 stars if I could. Shame on this chain for allowing such childlike behavior from its forefront workers. (Date and time stamp included in beginning of review intentionally- I would hope employees and managers review this camera footage and learn how not to treat customers.)

We are not from here, but wanted to know what the hype was about. One of the most bizarre situations we've ever had was here. While trying to order, employees wouldn't talk to us but would stare at us. Finally after five minutes of being ignored we were able to order. We got our food but didn't get the sauces we asked for, so I went inside to ask. I was then ignored again. An employee clearly looked right at me and I started to ask for some ranch, she just looked away like I wasn't even there. While I was very obviously trying to get their attention, an employee asked the gentleman behind me, (which happen to be the same race as the employees) how she could help him in a very happy energetic tone. While she was helping him, I chose to try and get someone else's attention which I was finally able to do after 5 minutes. I've never experienced such racial biased until I've walked into this establishment. If you're anything other than the race of the employees here, I'd not go.

The food is usually correct and good. The biggest issue is how slow the drive through is. They really need a faster drive through as it seems most of the people would rather use it. Especially since I use the app to order ahead. I can't always go in to grab the order because I have kids in the car, so something to speed this up would give it a five star for sure.

This is the first time I have ever been to a Zaxby's, let alone this one. First off I was put off by the smell inside the restaurant. The smell was hard to describe but definitely had the aroma of old food grease mixed with some type of pungent pepper smell. The cashier was nice enough and took my order without delay. Once seated with our drinks we waited maybe ten minutes until our number was called and another five for our friends who were eating with us. I opened my chicken sandwich to find that it is just a Junior Popeyes chicken sandwich, it tastes the exact same as Popeyes but smaller, when I say the exact same I mean the pickles, sauce, bread, everything. Me and my friend joked that they were cooking one piece of chicken at a time and that's why it was taking so long. When I went to leave I was going to refill my drink for the ride home and they were having trouble with the drink machine but I waited and they had it fixed in a short time. When we left out our path was blocked by the drive through line and it took some maneuvering to get out of the parking lot. The place was busy but...not my best experience. We picked this place at random with a restaurant roulette app which was pretty cool. All in all I would have rather had a Popeyes chicken sandwich. Their fries were greasy and soggy and had some Cajun seasoning sprinkled on them, they were not the best either. Maybe I could say that I wasn't really hungry but I was. I don't know about the other restaurants in the area but I will try some place else next time I'm in Hopkinsville.

Lord my family will disagree with this so I will tell you what they think. They love Zaxby's. Love it. Love the taste and love it he atmosphere. But I'm not all in. Too expensive for soggy fries and barely tasty stuff I can make at home. The best thing I ever got from there was a Zen Zalad. It's just not great compared to the price. Just wrong to ask people to pay $35 for a family of four for a meal you could get at Logan's Roadhouse or O'Charleys and with tableside service. And when the food has come out each time it is not warm or even hot. Not sure what's up but I gave it 3 because my wife and kid like it. If not it would have gotten a 2.

stopped here on way back from Holiday world in Indiana. The young lady who helped us was vey sweet and pleasant. There was a family with young children there that seemed to be unpleased with everything. They complained they had waited about 10 minutes to receive their food then complained about the food itself. The manager and young lady handled their complaints very well. it seemed there was just no pleasing the woman in that family. The manager came to our table and checked on our experience. Great experience for us.

I was doing research on local southern chains and came across Zaxby's. When I mentioned Zaxby's to a girlfriend of mine, her eyes lit up and she told me, "You're going to be in for a real treat!" Sure enough I was. I ordered the 4 piece chicken tenders meal and the chicken tenders were on point! They were probably the best I've ever had! I loved their crispy coated breading which had just the right amount of seasoning. Within that crispy breading was the delectable chicken meat. It was very juicy and tender! If you haven't heard of Zax sauce, don't get me started. I'm sure it's a secret recipe, but Zax sauce is boss. It's the perfect condiment for chicken tenders. If this is your first time here, I would suggest you try it. The side of golden fries and salad was the perfect accompaniment to round out this delicious meal. This facility was clean and well kept. The cashiers were courteous and food came out swiftly. For affordability, cleanliness, and taste I'd highly recommend!
