PHARMACY Got my annual flu shot with Michelle. Not only did I not feel it which is unusual, but my arm was not sore for two days after. Which is very usual for me. Michelle rocks.

This isn't my normal type of review. But I've finally had it with this store. We've been coming to this Kroger since 2006. It's this area's "best" option, but that isn't going to cut it anymore. Many of the regular full time employees have gone. There are still a couple, but most have moved on. That's the reason we kept patronizing this store in the first place. They also used to have a lot of options and fresh items. This is true less and less often now. And I gave some leeway because of COVID, but Publix has fresh items and plenty of new and interesting things in stock. So why not Kroger, one of the largest grocers in the country?First they got rid of over half the checkout lanes and replaced them with self checkout. Ok, fine. Then they had a scan, bag, and go program where you could scan your groceries as you shopped, then just do a fast checkout at the end. That was quite convenient, but then they stopped doing that.Back to the dysfunctional self checkout. Which is often understaffed, so many times only half the kiosks are open anyway.I use my own bags. The self checkout stations make it extremely difficult to use your own bags, so I generally leave my bags in the cart and then just bag my groceries by using the "skip bagging" feature. Now the software has been updated and is absolutely atrocious. Skip bagging on a few items? Not only does it take forever between items to "skip bagging," but after a few items, it flags an attendant, grinding your checkout to a halt. And the same thing happens if you are purchasing more than a few items, even if you bag them in Kroger's bags on their bag stand. I get loss prevention, but this isn't going to help. And if you're that worried about it, maybe you should've kept more human cashier lanes. The carts are always rickety with broken wheels.Publix is 30 minutes away, but they have fresh, fun, interesting products, smooth riding carts, and many kind, efficient human cashiers.

Service desk employees are always slow to assist, and rude every time I have to do business at the desk.

Pharmacy staff refused to wait on me even though it wasn’t 5:00. I waited in the drive-thru line for 10 minutes.

I came to this Krogers to buy some Siete Paleo, Vegan, Dairy Free, Soy Free, and Low Calorie Tortilla Chips. 130 calories a bag -wow. I was happy and skippy. Love my chips!

I ordered my son a cake and did not recieve the same cake I ordered. it wasn't done as the picture showed it would be, was missing decoration, and was smooshed on the sides from the container.
Pam Mitchell
Rude and unprofessional cashier that stated to/about my family member, “I’m just ready to get this dick out of my line.” FOR NO REASON we can figure except that he had a Trump mask on. And she is ALWAYS rude and hateful every single time I go in there.

I had a very bad experience with a pharmacy employee named Julie over the phone. She immediately approached the conversation with a nasty attitude/tone of voice that was very uncalled for. She was so rude and unpleasant that I ended up asking her to send my prescription to a different pharmacy.
The very rude lady that was supposed to be cleaning carts processed to follow and Harris me through the store claiming I had an additional shopper with me! I have never been treated so rudely somewhere! The manger could care less! I will not spend my families money in a place that allows something like this to continue.

Have shopped at Kroger here in Hopkinsville for years but after tonight, 5-24-19, we will only stop in for a few necessities as a convenience to us or for a few fruits and vegetables. There were NO, absolutely NO checkout lanes open....only self checkout and our order was a large cart full. It came to over $200 but with coupons, was reduced a bit. We requested the staff at self checkout to do the order. They obliged though not very willingly. Manager said they did not have enough help and offered not much of an apology. We are not, nor have never been employees of a Kroger store, and thank goodness never will have to be. To have NO lines open with a busy store on a Friday night is not acceptable. Sad to say after all this time, but Kroger will get little of our business again.
