I have been here 4x now and I decided to leave a post because each time the food has been correct, appropriate amounts, and taste very good. I have tried tempura, noodles, hibachi, and many sushi rolls. The sushi always tastes fresh and the rice is cooked the appropriate amount. In my experience if it’s not fresh or the rice in over cooked the sushi is not as good. Service has always been good. I am leaving the review because I am glad that Hopkinsville has a Japanese restaurant and hope it stays that way!

Dinner was outstanding! We normally go to Makado for habachi and sushi, but not anymore. We are super picky about sushi but this was AMAZING!! Habachi chef was so friendly. We got the sunset roll (delicious). My husband got the chicken and shrimp and I got the chicken and scallops. Will be back. 10/10.

I ordered to-go and the young woman on the phone did not get my order correct and I had to come back to get it corrected. The miso soup was very bland. The sashimi pieces were far too big and mushy, they also added a smoked fish that was not tasty at all. The ginger quality was poor as well as the wasabi. The pictures on the website did not match the quality we saw on the website. Very disappointed that I have to continue to get somewhat better sushi in Clarksville.

Overall the food was good. We choose to dine in hibachi. We sat quickly and our food order was taken. However another party was sat with us and not everyone was there. We had to wait about 40 minutes for the other people to arrive and order. What could have been an easy and quick experience turned into a long event sitting with people we didn't know. I don't believe they should allow incomplete parties to be sat at the hibachi grill

My first time here. We was celebrating my 58th birthday. I had the calamari. It came with soup and salad. The portions.was plenty large. I wasn't able to eat all of it. Our hibachi cook was quite pleasant. Very funny also. Service was excellent They really know how to treat a customer. The restaurant was really nice inside clean low lighting, but just enough where you could still see. I will probably go back here again.

We went to Saito Japanese Steakhouse for dinner tonight and had a great experience! The reviews were questionable so we weren’t sure what to expect but we were pleasantly surprised! We got there at 6, there was no wait and we were immediately seated. The server came over almost instantly to get our drink order and ask about appetizers. Our drinks and sushi came out very quickly! We split two basic rolls which were both good. As we were finishing our sushi and soup the hibachi chef came over. We were the only ones at our table and he was still SO entertaining and friendly!! We have been to hibachi restaurants all over the country and never had such an entertaining chef!!! The food was prepared well and everything was delicious!! Our waiter quickly got us refills and to go boxes with our check once we asked for it. We were in and out within 48 minutes with enough leftover for breakfast and lunch…the portions are huge!! We will definitely be back!
It was wonderful the food was good. The service was good I really enjoyed it. I truly recommend it. I had the chicken and shrimp, hibachi lunch, and my friend had the steak and shrimp hibachi. She also has some sushi that she just loved. The whole thing was just great.
