My partner and I went to Oriental Wok this past week and had a mixed experience overall. The service and atmosphere of the establishment were good. The dining room is beautiful and we enjoyed the lights, decor, and water features. Our waiter was friendly and the wait wasn’t terrible on the food. The food itself was somewhat disappointing. For appetizers we had the bali maki and the potstickers. The bali maki were definitely our favorite dish of the night, as they were flavorful and tender. The potstickers were okay, but the dough was definitely thicker than it probably should be.For entrees I had the Hong Kong Steak, which was somewhat overcooked but very flavorful and nice. The stir-fried vegetables that accompanied the strip steak were definitely subpar. They were clearly frozen and generally unappetizing. My partner had the “Volcano Pork”. The pork was cooked and seasoned well, but it definitely lacked the spiciness that was advertised. The dish was also drowning in sauce, and which was unfortunate, and had those same frozen veggies.Over all I think we would come back, but it is not our first choice for Chinese food in the area.

It was a good meal. Was just sorta bummed bc they didn't do anything to help celebrate an 80th birthday but did celebrate a bday that was next to us. Otherwise it's pretty good.

this was our third time at this location and, admittedly, it was better before. The service was excellent. The food was not. This time we went on a Sunday and the portions, though generous were really bland. Almost tasteless. It was also expensive, $25 for the special which was not so special.

Service was excellent. Ordered Shrimp and Mushrooms and the Mushrooms are so good. Shrimp was very fresh and not over cooked. I had a Martini and spilled it they cleaned it up and brought me another.

This place has not changed in decades. Its consistency is uncanny. The shrimp toast is quite the great presentation and very delicious. The General Wong's chicken was very good with the fried rice.

This is by far the best Chinese Restaurant in Grater Cincinnati. I used to think the China Gourmet was the best but not anymore. The ambiance, service, food and drink are exceptional.

We were there for a girlfriend's birthday and had a wonderful time!! The owner and his daughter both gave us a lot of attention and were wonderful. The added birthday celebration, and ice cream with darling.

This establishment has been a neighborhood fave for many years. The service and food is top notch, and the ambiance is perfect for families and friends. This is also a super spot for a date. Never be afraid to ask for substitutes in a meal, as they are always happy to meet your needs when able. They have a full bar, a birthday gong if you're celebrating another year older, and wonderful desserts.
