The high rating is by no means misleading. This place is great! I ordered the "Juicer" Sandwich, which is Blackened Mahi Mahi. She ordered the "Big Kahuna Burger". Both were excellent. Very generous portion of Fish and well-seasoned. Half-pound Burger. The default side is Macaroni Salad, which is also good. The Fries are an upcharge, with Hawaiian Fries also being an option. She raved about the Fries. It's a chill environment that is decorated in a fun way. Staff was friendly and service was quick. They also have $1 Beers. The two Sandwich meals, upcharge for Fries, and a Beer came in at just under $27.Parking: Behind the buildingKid-friendliness: Absolutely
I tried the fries and was so glad they were actually crispy! The macaroni salad was good. I was with a Lexington resident who raved about the pork, rice, and chicken dishes as well. The building is small and inside was cramped/humid. The service was quick but indifferent. I hope they become so popular that they are able to expand to accommodate more people. Also you have to take stairs to get to the restaurant which means anyone with mobility issues or with a stroller in tow isn't going to have an easy time getting there. This food was better than some I tried a while back in Indian Shores, FL.Parking: Parking is behind the building and there are few spaces.Wheelchair accessibility: This is not an accessible building.

The wife and I had been looking for a Hawaiian BBQ place for a while and there’s absolutely none around us. We had to go to Lexington for a day and just happened to look up places to eat in Lexington and found this place. We were so happy we did because this place was amazing! the food was delicious and more importantly authentic. The macaroni salad was spot on and the pulled pork and chicken was so tender. Plus the price was a surprise for how much food we got. If you have a desire for good food, something new, or Hawaiian BBQ make sure you stop here!Parking: there’s a lot next door and a couple parking spots in the rear.
I grew up in Hawaii so when I seen this place I was in Heaven! Got a couple spam musubis and chicken katsu! I was in pure ecstasy! It's been over 25 years since I've had Hawaiian food and I miss it. Highly recommend going. Will be going back before heading home to NC!
Always a good meal! Authentic Hawaiian through and through. Well worth a visit. Always friendly staff.

Not overrated at all. Chicken was so tender and well sauced. Didn’t think i would enjoy the mac salad but as others said it was delicious! Service was quick and kind.Parking: Parking in back
You won’t leave hungry! I arrived starving and ordered the Big Kahuna Burger and fries. I could only finish about half of the meal… so much food! It was delicious though and their fries seemed hand-cut!The ambience is cool as well! You could choose between the busier downstairs area or the quieter, more spacious upstairs area! The murals were also fun to look at!I definitely will be back!
