I love the wine flights and that they have a sweet one! The fondue was great, the tomato soup more like a purée and too salty to be edible but the grilled cheese great. The pizza could use more cheese. Thanks Julie for just the right amount of attention

Madeline was our waitress and did a great job taking care of me & my party! She was courteous and took our time. She gave me an option to try out the white wine for a sip and the taste was relaxing. She went ahead and pour a whole glass for me. The salmon along with the asparagus & brussel sprouts were delicious!

We had the chicken and the Allen Brothers steak. Chicken was bland, and lemon butter sauce had too much lemon . Steak was tender well cooked a little heavy on the salt. Caesar salad is outstanding. Charcuterie board is good. It's a little pricey at $112 for dinner with no alcoholic drinks. The atmosphere is good.

Food was mediocre at best. The Wagyu Meatballs would have been good if it wasn't burnt to crisp on one side affecting almost halfway through each meatball. The special of the night which was sea bass was delicious except for the asparagus that were served ice cold. The Chicken Francese was a disappointment. Sadly, the pickled red onion/garlic relish just doesn't pair up well with the lemon caper sauce and the whole dish was just too tart and the flavors were just off all together. The ambiance was beautiful, however a tad bit noisy. Our server was cordial and nice. Will give it one more try in the future as this is my second visit and absolutely need a third try to see if Cru will be one of the places I will keep supporting.

We really enjoyed our date night dinner at Cru. The wine selection is excellent and the service was great. The charcuterie was fantastic. The scallops were good but the risotto with them was a bit bland. The filet was cooked well and very tender. We enjoyed the chocolate fondue for dessert. We will be back.

Service is always amazing when Dolores Adams is working. I highly recommend her for manager position. She makes the place enjoyable. I have watched her make this place to what it is since I have been coming to cru ever since it opened it's doors. You can feel and see the difference when she is not there! She knows the wine list and always has great recommendations. She knows all the return costumers and remembers their likes and dislikes (very impressive) and really connect with the new customers and gets to know them. The food is great. I enjoy all the pizzas and main dishes, especially the scallops and braised short rib. Amongst appetizers the potstickers and meatball are my favorites. I wish they would offer weekly specials to give more options. For someone like me that goes there often the menu can get repetitive (a suggestion for corporate office).

We came for Sunday Brunch. We enjoyed our Bellinis. My wife's Cobb Salad was very generous and tasty. My Anjou Pear and caramelizada onion Pizza was also quite tasty. Aundrea, our server, was very personable and attentive. She made us feel very comfortable in spite of the malfunctioning heating system that day.

We had a great experience at Cru and that was mostly attributed to our very knowledgeable and attentive server, Andrea. She assisted us with our wine selection and was comfortable letting us enjoy the food and company with our friends. The food selection was wonderful and we shared all of our selections. I would highly recommend!

This review is difficult for me to write because I usually love Cru. My girls and I frequently stop in during summer to enjoy their flights and the service and charcuterie have never disappointed before. When I saw that they were doing a NYE special dinner I was very excited! I booked a table for four scheduled for 9:45. We arrived early for our reservation and were greeted and seated by 9:35. Unfortunately, that is where the positive feedback stops. This was a 75$ per person dinner and there was no "subject to availability" or " limited quantities available" on the menu or online. They were out of the Crab Cake starter, and while this was disappointing to my husband I was not yet vexed since there were 3 other options. I was however borderline irate when our server informed us that there were out of THREE of the four options for entrees. I had planed on eating Filet Mignon Oscar with truffle potatoes gratin, broccoli, and crab Bearnaise for my New Years Eve. Instead I ended up with breaded chicken from the regular menu and broccoli, I didn't even get the special sides! The chicken itself was soggy and a noticeably smaller portion than another member of our party who also had to downgrade to it. Disappointed is probably the kindest way to describe how I felt. Not just because my replacement food was bad, but because the customer service was sub-par and I expected more from Cru. Our server was not at fault for our food woes, but she was distracted at best. We found ourselves looking up multiple times to see her on her phone when we needed something at our table. I did not complain, and I did not send my food back in the interest of enjoying my night, but I did end up in the drive through on the way to our NYE party. Long story not so short our dinner was hot garbage because they ran out of food and no one tried to make it better so we spent over 200$ on disappointment and Lava cake (That didn't even come with the promised whipped cream). Please do better Cru.

Very disappointed with our NYE visit. After arriving for our 8:45 pm reservation, which I understand is a late evening seating, we were told that two of the main menu options were no longer available. We were also not offered a replacement option in addition to the alternatives on the set menu, but the couple that ordered next to us after was. The food we did receive, was incredibly subpar. The lobster bisque was lukewarm, the ravioli lacked flavor, and the chocolate lava cake, without flaw per se, was just alright. Our server was friendly, attentive and I in no way fault her for our evening. I can imagine working holidays is stressful as is so we didn’t make it much of a point to complain, after all, it was not her fault. As for cru and dining there, it will certainly be a while before I come back.

We had an 8:15 reservation on New Years Eve with a $75/meal special, limited menu (4 entrees total) and they were already out of 2 main entrees (Filet, Scallop Pasta) and 1 of the starters (crab cakes). Waitress said that someone in Texas determines the quantities and wasn't aware of what food is most common in Kentucky. She also was going to provide a discount due to the inconvenience but then charged full price in the end. The room was cold and I should have worn a sweater. High top tables are very difficult to get into and then move to get close to the table top - very small due to trying to maximize seating occupancy in limited space. Wine is very good - although while they were offering a 33% discount on bottles of wine for the table, after checking Total Wine prices, they were still more expensive (even after the “discount”). Quite the mark-up only to promote a discount.
