“I've been a regular for many years. In my opinion it's the absolute best place in town for lunch. The menu is huge. The daily specials are always a surprise. Krissy plans the menu and makes it all with help from David and the kitchen gang. She has had a loyal following for years. The place looks a little dumpy but that's because it's always crowded and the food is to die for. The soups are first class. I understand people want her to franchise them. Salads are interesting and delicious. Sandwiches are homemade and super. It just tastes good. You can't go wrong.“

“Great place to eat. Came in looking for pancakes, the gentleman chef was on lunch break when he overheard the disappointment in my man's voice about not having pancakes. He got up to make him 3 awesome tasting pancakes. I have never had a service like that before. Thank you for accommodating us.“
“Big Blue Deli is a small sandwich shop downtown near Transylvania University. It has an eclectic array of memorabilia of UK Basketball history. Golf clubs, other types of possessions of past players, coaches. Service was very friendly and accommodating. The place is small so if busy you may have a little bit of a wait but they hustle. Food is above average and freshly made. Not much seating so recommend to do a take out order during lunch.“
