Growing up with a Hispanic background/ family. I’m very picky when it comes to authentic Mexican cuisine, especially in Ky where I’m so far from my original home. Found some delicious tacos that hit the spot after a great whiskey tour at James E Pepper. The shrimp, pork belly, and steak tacos were all fantastic. The location was convenient, and the service was excellent. We grabbed seats at the bar and enjoyed a few drinks with our meal. They even had a surprising variety of Mexican beers and cocktails, which was a welcome sight in bourbon country!

This is the spot!! As retired military, I’ve had the opportunity to travel all around and try food from many regions. This is by far the best, authentic, and delicious Mexican/taco place I’ve found since being in KY.
