The El Patron is delicious, and HUGE. frozen margarita is also super tasty. Service was great, very kid-friendly and relaxed.

These are the best birria tacos I’ve had. My family loved the birria pizza, fish tacos and tacos al pastor. The service was great and the drinks were strong.

Service was not that good, everything overpriced and no free chips and salsa? They charge 4% on cards as well and they didn’t have change for my cash making my birria tacos & beans $20..

A friend and I went last minute on a Thursday night. He has been wanting to try it. I'll admit, Mexican is not my first choice of food so keep that in mind. The place is pretty small and the layout is odd. Even though it's small, it wasn't busy. Even on national margarita day. The service is quite poor. I only saw two people. The man had a hard time understanding anything we asked or told him. He came back multiple times to ask a single question about our drinks and food that he had forgotten to ask prior. He and the woman seemed to be both waiting tables and bartending. From my experience, chips and salsa are usually brought out before drinks. We had to ask. We did order guacamole which was just chopped up avocados to me. I will say the chips seemed fresh. They just broke every time I tried to get some guacamole. The salsa was very runny for me but maybe that's your preference. I ordered the chicken and steak fajitas which might have been some of the best fajitas I've had. I like how well the onions and peppers were chopped up the tasted was good. I don't often drink because alcohol tends to overpower any taste of drinks I tend to try but their lime margarita wasn't bad! Fajitas 9/10 Chips 8/10 Salsa 6/10 Guacamole 5/10 Margarita 8/10 If I get the itch for Mexican sometime I would definitely give it another shot. Possibly order online and pick up though. It was quietly and empty which was a huge plus.

First couple visit’s were great, but this place has gone downhill a little. Always understaffed, you get your food pretty fast but have had more than 1 experience where it was slightly undercooked.Has the potential to be a really good place but you can’t run a restaurant with just 2 people. Not worth the high price and the quality of your experience just seems like a gamble. It’s good when it’s good, but not when it’s not. However I would take it over several nearby competitors.Hope to see some positive changes if it lasts long enough.

Great food and staff. Came in on a slow night so we got all the attention we needed. Food was fresh, tasted great. Staff was attentive and even modified my order to please me. With no questions asked. Price is ok. Clean establishment including the Bathroom which is very important to me at least. Will return with an empty belly ready to eat. Recommend this place to everyone

Slow service and overpriced mediocre food. When they first opened they were amazing. Now it's very bland and takes forever. I keep giving it a try but it's disappointing every time.

the food was amazing , but the rude service of the waitress was really bad , she come outside and stop us while we was driving out the parking lot and throw the money that we have left for a tip saying that she wasn't a begger for that kind of tip , so I belive I wouldn't never go to eat again , to bad the food was great but the waitress made the whole place looking bad .

The food here is totally legit! We loved everything we got, birria tacos, birria chimichanga and my carnitas tacos. We also started with the trio dip and it was tasty. The food is made to order and worth it.

The food was super bad, tasteless, birria that you could tell had been prepared for days, it hurt my whole family to eat there.Horrendous guacamole and a mini plate that looked like an individual for $12Fatal, I won't come back...

I got the steak fajitas, and they were alright. It seemed like they forgot about it then rushed it out since I was the last one in my group to get my food. It was also a little expensive and the meat was a little chewy. We also got the chorizo queso which tasted good but seemed a little watery. Not great seating for parties larger than 5 or 6. Overall good, but a little disappointing.

Unfortunately, my most recent visit to El Cid was not a hit like it has been in years past. One disappointment was the chorizo queso. It was extremely watery and our table was not provided with plates until the entree, so it was pretty impossible to not drip the dip all over the table. This location also does not have great seating options for parties larger than 5-6 (or at least not indoors). There was a long wait to be served even though the restaurant was not busy at all. Servers were friendly but brought entrees out at staggered times that left a few people waiting much longer than others to receive their food. I love quesadillas but quesadilla light was just "meh". All of the good stuff was in the very center and the outer edge (like an inch or so) was just plain tortilla. I'm sure I'll visit again, but with lower expectations :(
