Suddenly remembered this place from years ago. They took our tour bus of +27 in when a racist restaurant nearby suddenly "forgot" our reservations and sent us away. They immediately brought up our moods with their warm personalities, good food and service.

It had been a while since we ate at El Gran Tako, and our previous food experience here was decent.This time, everything was different...and NOT for the better. I ordered one of my favorite tacos, taco de birris, a dish that typically NEVER disappoints, until today. The food took a bit and arrived lukewarm. The corn tortillas were stale and disintegrated when picked up. The birria was SUPER DRY, how is this possible with steamed meat? Service was lack luster. Definitely won't be back and wouldn't recommend.

They should give you more than just a thin stack of a couple tortillas for a order of fajitas that wasn't sizzling when I got it. It tasted fine but the point of a fajita is the sizzling...This places does have great tortas. Overall I would recommend.

I have eaten at this place a few times to meet up for business there with my relatives, but this last time, I don't know if it was because they were going to close soon. Food wasn't all that good service was great overall, but food was not very good ?
Fajitas are so good. Also recommend the tacos because you can try three differents meats at once (like pastor!). Service is friendly and fast. 2 for 1 margs every day!

This was our first time eating here. I had Birria and my husband had carnitas. The highlight for both of us was the homemade corn tortillas. Fabulous. Great place for food and very friendly staff who even helped me with my attempts to order in Spanish. We are going back !

The pork skin tacos were dried. Super spicy were I couldn't control the spiciness. The only good thing was the fresh waters were delicious. I got piña and horchata. The waitress was super nice and friendly.
