First time at a First Watch and was not disappointed. Was visiting from out of town and stopped here for breakfast. The food was amazing and the staff was supper friendly. The restaurant was very clean and we didn't have a wait. We did go right after they opened. Highly recommend eating here!

First time at the chain. The service was prompt and friendly. Always nice to receive that extra help with ingredients and products. The food was just as advertised- fresh. The quality of the ingredients were evident and we are looking forward with our next visit. Hope their planning in opening in Michigan

Biscuits and Gravy were legit, but the potatoes as a side were almost entirely raw and drenched in oil. The eggs were also definitely not farm direct as their branding claimed. At least they were NOT fresh. We have a personal flock of free range egg laying chickens, and if their eggs did come direct from farm, they sat in the back of their fridge for a month. Flavorless rubber flavor. Our server Makenzie was great, but way understaffed. One thing is they need to disclose forced tipping. Before you get angry we left a 45% tip. Left a 30% cash tip, and when we went to pay the bill the options were "15%, 20%, 25%, other suggested 30%". I just hope she wasn't forced to split the tips. I literally tried to flag down 3 other servers, who were just doing walk around checks, and they two looked right at me waving and just straight ignored me. The other server was a blonde and she was so swamped I totally understand her (assuming she) not noticing. TL;DR: Most staff couldn't be arsed, and I feel bad for the few who are clearly busting their behinds to pick up the slack. And don't eat the potatoes because they can't cook them for s#%€. If you haven't ever had real farm fresh eggs, we'll you probably wouldn't notice.

Friendly service, very rude check out, tasty food. Went here with my family for a Mother’s Day brunch. Food was tasty and well prepared, and served well, substitutions were no problem as I have a family member who has multiple dietary issues and has a severely restricted diet. Service was friendly, prompt even though the server was very busy. We all really enjoyed our meals and had a fun time together. However the young woman running the checkout was extremely rude. She complained about splitting the check. She asked me why I didn’t ask the waitress to split the check and then spoke to me as though I was beneath her and stupid simply because I was older than her. It seem to be a huge burden for her to have to deal with me, and she was surly and literally threw my receipt in my face. Everyone over 30 is not a Karen and anybody who talks to or treats another person like that should not be working in customer service. I haven’t been treated this rudely by anyone in a very long time and it makes me think less of the entire First Watch organization. I would use caution when going to this restaurant if this person is still behaving in the same way that they are, I can’t imagine that anyone else is going to come away unscathed or than anyone over 30 isn’t going to be spoken to as though they are an insubordinate moron and treated with total disrespect. I do have to compliment the server, she was extremely friendly, positive and upbeat did not complain at all about the substitutions and came back multiple times to fill our drinks without us having to ask. She was also extremely busy and my hats off to her. Also, the food was hot tasty and well prepared, so hats off to the kitchen staff as well. The three star rating I’m giving is a direct result of the teller and her behavior towards me and her behavior towards the other people she was there to serve.

After a swim at the YMCA, I headed to FW because I earned a reward. Scanning the Monday Lexington Herald I noted the 45 new local places highlighted in the paper. I considered the Lexington choices and then my Carnitas Breakfast Burrito arrived at the table. WOW. The pork, cage-free scrambled eggs, seasoned potatoes, black beans, lemon tahini arugula, cheddar and Monterey Jack cheese and avocado wrapped in a whole wheat tortilla covered in tomatillo hollandaise topped with pickled red onion arrived. SO very glad to have FW in Richmond. I will not be driving to Lexington for a brunch reward after a swim workout.

This is one of my favorite brunch spots. I've tried several items off the menu and have never been disappointed. My favorite is The Works Omlet with seasoned potatoes. The toast that comes with it is very good too. It's so much food at a reasonable price. Service has always been good at this location.

we got here at 10:45 this morning. it's currently nearly 1 pm with still no food. the table next to us has been sitting dirty the entire time. I know staffing is short but Jesus .... by the time we eat we will have been here nearly 3 hours. so if you're in a hurry don't come here.

Great place for Breakfast. Great staff focused on the customer. Our waitress Lilly was fantastic. OJ could be better though!
