First time ever having a banana split and trying Freshies. It was so wonderful. I cannot have gluten and the ease of ordering directly off their menu was incredibly refreshing. They were out of bananas and one of the workers ran across the lot to buy them just after we ordered. Both workers were very quick and kind, while being busy just after taking our order.Each Ice-cream we ordered was amazing, but the coconut almond one was life changing. Thank you! Really cool ambiance. Feels like a timey soda shop with bar seating. Ice cream does not disappoint. Little out of the way for most of Lexington but worth the trip. 10/10 will go again.

I love freshies! It has this 50s dinner look inside and they play the music of that era! I've cream is served in real dishes if eating inside which is an extra special treat to make you feel like you are in one of those ice cream / soda parlors of years past. The ice cream is top notch. It's extremely creamy and all the flavors I have tried have been so delicious. They also have quite a few vegan options which you don't see with many ice cream shops. I get the mint chip regularly and I'm not even vegan it's just that good! This time I tried their spumoni which had real cherry and pistachio prices in it. It was superb. I also tried the chocolate and it was a chocolate lovers dream! They also make their own sodas here with syrup like in the old days! I'd highly recommend checking them out!

Helped my older mom and aunt look online at flavor options to select their order, but ordering wasn't available online. Drove there to place and pick up their sections but what the website offered was unavailable. The young girls working explained "we have it, but it's not out right now" so I attempted to order what I thought they'd like. $15 for two orders and they were not very friendly. I've cream was good tho.

Truly an amazing place! We went to Freshie's for our daughter's birthday and they were fantastic. They even opened during a snow storm so we could go! Cutest little place and wonderful hospitality!

Awesome ice cream and lovely atmosphere. The place was very clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. I typically don't like cotton candy, but after trying the ice cream I was sold. It doesn't have that artificial flavor, it is creamy and light. Fantastic all around! Can't wait to try the other flavors

If you're vegan BEWARE! I had the waiter repeat my vegan order back to me. I received my milkshake and took several sips and it tasted funny. I initially thought they replaced the recipe. I just knew it couldnt be dairy because I had him repeat my order so there would be no mistakes! I finally called and asked what type of milkshake they gave me and sure enough it was dairy! It's gonna me a long an very sick night at this point. Persons with dairy allergies please beware.
They have Vegan Ice Cream! And they also have Vegan whip cream too! Definitely our spot for treats. Absolutely LOVE the Strawberry Banana Vegan Smoothie, it's our #1 favorite. Definitely recommend!

Showed up with two boys on Aug 23 to get ice cream. Ended up in tears when we arrived and they were closed. No excuse for this. They did have a sign that said they were closed the 24th and 25th for training. Really poor performance to be closed during the hottest week of the year. Won’t be coming back. Not worth putting up with the inconsistent hours.
