I went here as part of my bachelorette weekend in Lexington and it was probably the best part of the weekend! Grimes Mill Winery is a beautiful small farm winery just south of Lexington KY. The wine here is excellent. The tasting room is beautiful and unique. Daniel, the tasting room manager is knowledgeable and personable. I probably enjoy the syrah the most but all the wines are well made. Grimes Mill is a gem. Don’t miss it.

A local favorite. Laid back atmosphere. Friendly, knowledgeable staff. Not a super fancy winery, but I enjoy hanging out there with friends. They allow you to bring in outside food. Bring some snacks, maybe a board game and have a good time!
