I read through my work, that this was a good coffee spot. I walked over from my hotel and figured I'm in bourbon country so I'd try the smoked bourbon caramel latte. My God! Had to be one of the best coffees I've had. Not only was the coffee smooth but the young lady that made it, made it to perfection! I walked back to my hotel and was sad because I finished it. The service was excellent. I didn't try any food as I was getting ready to go to a concert and just really wanted the coffee. She told me they ship their coffee and I might be taking them up on it. The shop is small and can't hold a lot of people at once but it's rustic and cozy. If I ever land in Lexington again, I'm definitely going back. Thank you!!!

The staff and owner were extremely rude and disrespectful to my group, and me. Instantly could tell they didn’t like us because we were celebrating our friends birthday, and were not the traditional crowd. Being apart of the LGBTQ community, I felt the sting of being judged for being a cis male who seems straight because of my demeanor. I am a proud BI-sexual Black man.I felt like we were a burden. It truly was not a welcoming environment, andmy whole party felt the same. People in my party were told to vacate the front where they are supposed to pick up their drinks. I will never go here again. The owner attempted to ask me to leave which I complied with no issue, just asked for my money back for one of the beers I was not able to drink. I was denied, because of a clause in my receipt. After asking and being denied the owner told me they weren’t kicking me out but I couldn’t be upset about the service and to be quiet. I highly recommend avoiding this place, because no one should be treated the way I was. There are a lot of better places to enjoy yourself than here.

This place is so cool! Coffee and cafe drinks available all day, alcoholic beverages in the afternoon/evening. The coffee is good and they have tons of board and card games in the back. Overall the atmosphere is what really makes this place stand out - it's relaxed, friendly, quiet. If I'm ever back in Lexington I'll definitely stop in!
