Visiting Lexington with my family, we saw MiMi's while driving the area. So glad we decided to stop in. Food was delicious and given to us fresh. Macaroni, liver and onions, pork chops, cabbage (oh my), and hot water cornbread. Amazing southern meal. From Michigan and food far exceeded our expectations!

The whole wings I ordered were cooked, fresh and seasoned perfectly. The mac & cheese is too processed for my tastes. The dinning room is spacious and the staff is accommodating. 6 people, $116 with drinks.

We were visiting from Memphis and truly enjoyed the food! Everything was soooooo good! The staff was very friendly and did everything to make our experience a good one! We will definitely be back on our next visit to Lexington!!!

My husband and I ate here for the first time yesterday. We got the fried chicken, meatloaf, mashed potatoes, m&c, green beans, and fried cornbread. It was very good. We will definitely be back.

Mimi, honestly is one of the best soil food restraunts I've gotten food from. I don't know if it's Mimi or not but the last that serves the food everytime I've been there is super nice, but yet professional as far as keeping things moving. Everything has always been very clean. I've been to a few soul food joints and chicken joints that I wouldnt let my mom or sister go to alone, but here is all good. Totally recommend this place when you want some good home cooking but don't feel like doing it yourself

The food was very delicious. Fried cornbread, candy sweet potatoes, homemade Mac and cheese, fried chicken.. Yum yum. Was charged almost $40 for two plates of food and one drink. The food did stay extremely hot in the to go boxes and passed the taste test. It's still a one and done though but only due to the prices. I would have loved to seen a daily menu posted out front. The restaurant was clean and the bathroom was clean.

I will admit that I have no idea what the food or service was like. My experience is entirely based on the atmosphere. The reason is because upon opening the door and walking in my wife and I was hit in the face with an ungodly odor and immediately turned around and walked back out. If that smell was coming from the food there was no way it was getting anywhere close to my mouth.
