Great spot! I had only ever come here for hibachi dinner, and it has been several years since I've done that, but I decided to have lunch here the other day. Definitely one of the best bento boxes I've had in Lexington. I ordered the steak teriyaki with ginger salad, edamame, and a tuna roll. Pretty standard stuff, but noticeably higher quality than some of their competitors, and for a good price too! Service was friendly and pretty quick, the ambiance in the sushi/bar area is nice and relaxing (at least during the day). I was very impressed with the tuna roll despite it being a very basic choice, I will definitely be back to try more of their sushi rolls!

Food was average, service was really good. My only complaint was in the prices. Hibachi combos ranged $24-30 roughly, which I found to be a little steep. Sushi was phenomenal and very fresh. Will return for another meal sometime. Would have been a solid 4 star if not for the pricing. Not a bad place though, by any stretch.

My first experience at the restaurant. We each had the lunch box. The food was fresh and tasty. Service was fast and very good. I want to go back and eat the hibachi.

Food was delicious, the service was attentive, atmosphere was just right - quiet but not too quiet. A good place to go to carry on a conversation. I didn't need to yell to be heard by my friends.

It is a nice place to eat. They cook the food right in front of you on a grill.

Picked up a carry out on my first visit. Sushi and rolls were very good. Food was ready when planned. Love the online ordering.

6 of us ate there the other night and were very disappointed. Our food was over-cooked. Our shrimp was burned and rice was dry. We asked for more yum yum sauce and the chef said his container was empty. We thought he was joking and would get more from the back kitchen. Didn’t happen. He cleaned the grill, packed up and then left, without saying a word. No thank you or a goodbye.Do yourself a favor and save $200. Go somewhere else. Wish we did.

Sushi is amazing. Best I've had in Lexington and honestly the best takeout sushi place I've had. Period. Staff is friendly. Hibachi is nothing special but sushi and staff makes it worth a 5 star review.

I LOVE this place. Truly one of the best sushi and hibachi spots in lexington. Everyone is so kinda and respectful which is so hard to find these days! Also, it’s priced so well. I could find the same thing at Kroger for about $5 more than miyako and miyako’s is actually FRESH and made right there!! Thankyou Miyako!!

Miyako is my "old stand by" sushi restaurant in Lexington and I've been going there for years. I mostly get the rolls but everything is tasty. Red Blossom roll is my favorite. They also have a grill which folks seem to really enjoy. Service is normally very good and the cost is on par with other sushi restaurants I've been to around town. You can't go wrong here.

First of all, our chef was amazing. He kept all of us adults entertained and engaged the entire time. My only regret is we didn’t get his name. But definitely want to get him again the next time we go.
