After being disappointed with the supposed good pizza places here in Lexington, Mod Pizza was a surprise. The food was good and the service was efficient and courteous. I highly recommend this place.

The longer the Tates Creek location is open, the skimpier they get with the ingredients. Just ordered delivery, 2 separate pieces with 1 piece of 1 ingredient, as well as same pieces with 2 pieces of additional ingredients. Seriously getting sad, although, they HAVE lowered their delivery fee from $15 to $5. Overall, best pizza in this neighborhood, but, need to add more of each ingredient. Very easy to spot when only 2 ingredients on the pie.

I’m lactose intolerant, ordered two pizzas and a cheesy bread with dairy free cheese. They obviously ran out of the dairy free cheese on the second pizza as there were literally like 10 shreds on the entire thing, but didn’t bother telling me or changing the price. And then instead of just simply letting me know they ran out of the cheese for the cheese bread or removing it from my order, they just replaced it with normal cheese without saying a thing and I didn’t find out until I got home after driving 30 minutes and took a big bite and dealt with the consequences. I would not trust them with any food allergies or dietary restrictions as they may just swap out ingredients without saying anything.Dietary restrictions: Long story short: they don’t seem to honor dietary restrictions. I wouldn’t trust them with food allergies. If they run out of dairy free they will replace it with diary and not say anything

MOD is and has been my favorite pizza place for years! Started going there when they opened up in Michigan and now moved here and get to keep enjoying it here and I'm so grateful! They have the best Gluten free crust and Vegan cheese pizza. Hands down my most highly recommended pizza place for Gluten free goers. This place was recommended by a coworker. Glad I went. It’s like ordering at subway. You tell them size and type of crust. You pick out your topping and they build it for you. Pizza was very good! I’m not from this area but the next time I am, I plan to come here again.

I love the thin, crispy crust, and their fast big oven. I love being able to get whatever I want on my pizza, for one low price. Arugula! Sweet red pepper!! Artichokes!! Even anchovies (they keep them 'segregated' from the other toppings, in a refrigerator below the counter.) Chicken, salami, black olives, blue cheese. Yum!! Plus, I always have leftovers, to take home for a second (and sometimes third!) meal.Their staff members are consistently patient and courteous.Vegetarian options: You can get any combination of toppings that you want, and this includes a broad selection of veggies.
